Here's Ozzie's Fish! Looks like it was a tight squeeze up the hole.

heres my first walleye of the season caught tonight on a lake south of the metro. its not the biggest walleye but its a start. 12 inches

thanks toomuchfun? it was a blast to land a fish like that all alone at the time and on 4 inches of clear ice......it came to the bottom of the ice about 5ft away from me when I first got a good look at it and I knew it was big (30")!! The blood in the pic is from grabbing it out of the hole I slid my hand into the gills but after a few pics (thanks to Bob who was outside working on his cabin) it swam away really strong!! caught in 27ft of water on a perch colored jigging rapala with a st croix legend ML,tica cetus ss500, spooled with 4lb P-Line floro ice.....great start to the season!!

You near my spot then? That's about the exact same size as my 1st eye of the season. However that girth was absent on mine.

i am new, so uh. I was just wondering if people were nice enough to help a fellow icefisher try to find a good walleye and or crappie spot. in or around the north metro. i know that there is good fishin on minnatonka. what bay though, how deep. just sick of catching tiny crappies

What's up Jake! Nice full moon eyes'...My dad and i were out Wed. and Thurs. on two different lakes and we couldn't get a bite...A little frustrating when early ice should be the best bite...I think i'm about due for another trip

They're not trophys but I had a blast catching them last night. 1 hit about 20 seconds after the other. I still hadn't gotten the 1st one in yet. (1st on teardrop-second on the dead stick.)Had to toss rod and fish in sled and get to other one. I know it happens quite often but it's been a long time for me.
