Absolutely. It is not eliminated completely by any means, but there is a reduction in smoke. When you fire it up for the first time, let it get good and warm, then rev it up good for awhile. You will see the difference.

got mine this week and have it mixed and in the auger. ran it for a few minutes in the yard what a difference it cleared up my dogged lazer and now it actually revs and runs like it did when it was new thank you very much. ... paul

Got mine this week, thanks much!!! I ran the amsoil 10-40 full synthetic this summer in my Honda XR650L on my 6000 mile roundtrip ride up thru the Yukon, Arctic Circle NW Territories ride. Actually the 4 of us all used the oil and the Fuel /octane boost....cant remember what its called, PI? Anyway, when we changed our oil 1/2 way thru, it looked as good as new, at least in my low mileage bike. And the PI really helped us once we got to places where premium fuel was not available, better mileage and no ping at all!

Amsoil has great stuff and I appreciate the sample for my auger!

I got my oil in the mail the other day also. The only bad part was the sample packet had broken. The Post office damaged it somehow along the way. I'm sure I was the only lucky one to have this happen.

Looks like I'll have to track some down somewhere else to give it a try.

Got my sample all the way to Canada too and will be using it in my next gallon of gas and if it performs like Opti 2 as I'm sure it will I will definately give it a go too . Thanks for sending it and the info pack Oilman and muchos appreciated .

The sample says 100:1, I package to 1 gallon, I was told to run the auger at 50:1, which instructions should I follow? The auger is a 1 year old strikemaster lazer mag express.

AMSOIL gives you guaranteed safe lubrication at the 100-1 mix ratio for all air-cooled pre-mix 2-cycle engines. However many people are uncomfortable to use it that lean, and use it at 80-1 or a few use it at 50-1. Even at 50-1 it runs nearly smokeless in most machines.
