I do like the bass cats, but i think it would have to be a 20X2 with a 250 Mercury Pro XS. I will say that a Legend is a boat that i will be doing some looking into when the time comes to get a new boat.

BNS- Forward me that email we talk about today!!! grin

I would like to do an alternate. It is that 14ft boat with a non description of hp. The feel of the seeing the child looking down watching those pesky perch or sunfish nibling teasing that child.

Or maybe being back at that point in time

Ditto here Dietzy. Make that a 250 PRO XS on back. Also, be sure and get the lighted hand rails and fancy trailer rims. Get the 3D Humminbird GPS on front and back.

Kinda fun to dream and play around with coloring too. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Awesome news Deitz. Sounded like an awesome deal from what you told me last night. If everything turns out as described, it's will be a very worthwhile trip to Ohio!

Can't wait to see it. I know you're gonna be VERY happy to be part of the family!

Deitz can now use all the Chigger Brumbalow quotes.......

"You'd think I was lying if I told ya I could get there in about 4 minutes"....

"I was probably runnin' about 115 this morning, I'm here fishing, those other guys are still runnin'...."

"I always make those water patrol guys nervous...."

So I guess "Deitz's boat" as it's been called (My current PIV) will be up for grabs when it hits the market. Problem is, I like it so darn much I have had a hard time putting it up for sale to get a new one. I'll re evaluate again this winter and see if I wanna let her go. smile

I'll throw this out for Deitz as this post has come back up. I have/own my dream boat. Money was an object but I was able to get the deal done in a matter that I was happy with. I own a Bass Cat Puma with a 225HO ETEC. I won't get into the whole Merc vs. ETEC thing! Maybe! LOL

The Bass Cat ROCKS!!!!! I have owned a Triton and a Stratos and my dad owns a TR21X with a 250 Merc on it. Nothing!!!! Repeat NOTHING against the other brands but, nothing I've ever been in holds a candle to this boat! Ride is great, fishes level, finish is amazing, and most important, NO PLASTIC!!!! The dash of a lot of other brands are plastic. They rattle loose and crack over time. Mine is all Fiberglass. Great boat. I also put the 997 on the dash and another Humminbird in the front, interlinked them together which makes for one amazing combo.

Deitz, stop drooling! LOL You'll like yours almost as much as mine since mine has an Evinrude!!! LOL

If money was no object I would prolly get a ranger but not sure which model. But my mind changes all the time just like when i went to cabelas today, i didnt know warrior made a bass boat. That thing was so sweet and i bet that boat rides smoooooth on the water and can break thru the waves and everything. I believe it was the model 208xl or something with a merc 250 pro xs. Then if it wasnt one of those two then maybe a skeeter. Those would have to be my dream boats and hope that someday i can own of those.

I have read a couple of reviews on the Warrior bass boats and they seem like they would fit a niche crowd. I think they would be better suited as Muskie boats in my opinion and most of the guys that buy them will be Muskie nuts. Why do you ask? Because the Muskie guys are more notorious for fishing big water such as Mille Lacs, Leech, Winnie, Cass, and LOTW. The Warrior bass 208XL is a heavy boat, with a hull that is similar in design to the walleye boats they have. Made to handle big water, cut through the big rollers, but still be faster than a walleye boat. They are a pretty slow hull which I believe is one reason they beefed it up to get a 300 hp (I think) rating on them. Probably be the only bass boats anyone ever sees with a kicker on them.
