Ice Fishing Pictures

Ok, it's July and near 90 degrees out. I like summer and open water and all that but am I the only one that longs for thick ice and short days. Here are some of my favorite icefishing scenery shots from last year. They help me make it through the dog days. If anyone else has some please post 'em. We can help each other get through this difficult time.

Here's one from last winter when BDR and I took a group of boyscouts out on the ice...

I don't have any pictures to share, but I too am waiting impatiently for hard water!!! Open water is for water-skiing and I haven't done that for a few years now, so I look forward to hard water from the time I put moth balls in the fish houses!!

Here's one to make all of you appreciate the summer. You can see two guys that I was fishing with coming back to the truck pulling their sleds. We caught some nice perch, actually a lot of nice perch, but I never left my Fish Trap in fear of it ending up in Nebraska. blush.gif

Ahhh….. Thanks guys. I'm feeling much better now. I Almost get a chill from seeing these. If it wasn’t supposed to be almost 100 degrees this weekend I might get out in the garage and check out the auger and portable for some more inspiration. Guess I’ll just stick my head in a freezer grin.gif
