If I had to pick the "coolest" one that I'd want to catch and have a replica made, it would have to be:

1. Musky...basically the biggest shark in fresh water. Very cool, very big.

2. Walleye...I just love that gold pattern & white tip. My favorite fish to catch.

3. Crappie...there's just something about them that would look nice on the wall.

4. Pike...second largest shark in fresh waters, but more common than Musky.

I like to fish for fish. Doesn't matter what color, shape, size, etc.- I just like fish.

I really like the looks of a deep fried walleye fillet...the golden brown is hard to beat.

Next would be a nice chunk of broiled halibut, followed by a smoked Salmon steak.

From there we move to the Torsk and the panfish and the list is rounded out by a home made quanity of Pickled Northern Pike.

The looks of some of the above, can be enhanced by a colorful garden salad, a slice of lemon, a sprig of parsely.

This is my list and I'm sticking to it!

I must say I like warm water fish too but when I see that chrome color on rainbows and Chinook it gets the heart going!!

These just to name a few. I love to collect many different African Cichlids from lakes Malawi, Tanganika, and Victoria. Also some of the rivers and lakes in Central and South America.

I have been keeping and breeding most of the following fish and there is not much more interesting than observing each species unique traits and behaviours.

Oscar and the Pacu would probably take out the africans alone But as a group they might have a chance. The green terror would be an interesting match up, he's attacked both me and my girlfriend, he's a fearless bugger.
