With no snow, why did you tent on the ice instead of up top?  Less stumble distance from the late night fire!

The limited tent spots were getting muddy in the sun when we arrived. I almost prefer the ice, doesn't get anymore level, and it's generally the same temp as the ground overnight.

But man was it a noisy night going from 46° to 5°.

Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls. They did a "concert for conservation" for pheasants forever last night. Was a huge fundraiser, had a great time.

rundave.....is that the big pavillion on the west end of town??? when i had to spend nites there i stayed at that sleep inn out there. used to be a buffalo wild wings just down the road!!

no you are thinking of the premier center with the convention center and stuff attached to it. That is where the Pheasant Forever fest will be starting this afternoon. On my way there in an hour or so.

 

The Washington Pavilion is down town Sioux Falls, much smaller venue.

No, it was the sleds's day off, so he took it out riding.

The year of our Lord 2024.  March 1.  Ontario.  Sleds gets fixed from time to time.    Slow day; 4 small lakers in the low 20” range.  That’s why you get a sunset pic!

Not anymore because Im down in the south so much during the winter. But I used to average over 2000 miles a year
