Mushroom Swiss Buffalo Melt & Curly Fries

Started with a couple buffalo burger patties seasoned with Tatonka Dust and some Ore-Ida Golden Twirls in a cast iron pan all cooking indirect around the Vortex.

When burgers were done assembled the sandwich using Texas toast, mushroom sauce and Swiss cheese. Then with the curly fries still cooking indirect added another cast iron pan over the Vortex to grill the sandwich with direct heat.

Have a little mess going on after the sandwich flip...

Made for a bit of a gooey mess, but was so worth it!

If you be cooking stuff in a pan, why not just use a stove?  Sorry for my lack of understanding.

I look at it as a challenge to get the right temp going and feel I am in control of North Dakota Winters if it can be done outside and also the stove top is boring drinking beer around!

I'm most improved hijacker for sure, the rest of these clowns don't work on their faults enough.  Lately I type my response and then delete it if it's hijacking...that sandwich reminds me of a Lumberjack Burger.
