Corn beef hash & 2 over easy before checking da hardwater for tomorrow's sit & maybe getting lucky w/ an antler shed or 2.

I did have an excellent dinner at The Landing on Lake Alexander Saturday night.  Asabuco - but I didn’t take a pic of it, just the Alaskan Amber with a sipper of Pendleton on the side for one who was asking me if I was having a Crown Royal.

 

 

I was also talked into trying a bottle of Four Roses the next time I buy.  By a couple people.

 

Looking forward to that or my own bottle of Pendleton.  I learned that Knob Creek is not a great one for me on my last try.

  Asabuco, had to look that up but does sound good...  some friends like Pendleton real well..  not had it yet or the four roses...

Application is hung up in HR (National/Corp) so I don’t know for sure yet.  Still part time and starting a project with the new guy on Friday for the biz.

 

One way or another I’ll get enough for the next bottle!

 getting lazy in your very old age buying premade meals!!!!!never in this house!!!!!!!!!! not them anyway.

 

on the other had momma went to costco today.....grapes, strawberries, oranges and a pineapple. oranges are dynomite!!!!! strawberries pretty tasty to.

Here ya go Ronnie D. Pork steak on the grill with taters fried in butter and onions, and because brussel sprouts are Mike's favorite, here's to Mike!! I think momma is winking at me.

We do those Costco meals when I’m working in the Cities and staying at my buddy’s house.  Tried most of em.  The stuffed salmon might be my favorite.

Lazy Saturday cooking. I have a bunch of venison brats in the freezer like everyone else this time of year. This is an easy way to make some good eating. Normally I’ll cube potatoes and throw those in also but we didn’t have any on hand and I didn’t feel like going to get some.

Mixed bag of filets , venison sausage gravy , hash browns, biscuits & cheddar green onion scramble.

 

Paying back a favor to my welder for some spear work ( bottle of grappa' not shown).

and i dont remember the last time i had sunfish that didnt have skin on, just the way we were raised. scaled everyone by hand. and they used to be cleaned whole.  igot divorced when i had 3 kids in diapers.....with custody..........after that we scaled and filleted, or i ate cold fish!!!!!!

 

we have a scaling pail, thing can scale 20-30 sunfish in 2-3 minutes.  ones we have are called cyclones!!!

Breakfast for 4 & a fish sammy for lunch. If youve ever seen the Simpson's eat dinner, it went the same way but w/ 3 drunk welders afterwards.
