I am a little late to the game but WOW. You would have to use the electric chain saw to fillet them. I don't think the Rapala electric knife would do it! Whats more amazing is that there is more than just one monster! For some reason i feel a little in adequate all of a sudden with my 13" Crappie's

That reminds me of an 18" crappie I found floating dead a year ago. I was trolling for pike, and I came up on the biggest crappie I've ever seen. It looked like it had been dead for a while, so I just scooped it with the net, measured it, almost puked from the smell, and tossed it back. I have the picture somewhere, but it doesn't do justice like this one does. I rarely come across a mount of a crappie as big as the one I saw that day. I can only assume it died of old age.
