I don't know why everyone gets so excited every year when the gophers beat 4 little sisters of the poor type teams and then so disappointed when they can't beat any Big 10 teams. Has no one been paying attention the last 30 or 40 years?

I don't think anyone on here was real excited about the Gophers 4-0 start...we know the drill.

Nelson has to play better...he just has to. He doesn't seem or "look" comfortable to me out there.

Iowa's line play was just better than ours today as well.

I thought they had a chance if they started leidner. After watching a few running plays, he would have probably been carted off. Men vs boys No receivers and both lines looked bad.

I rarely watch the Gophers and after suffering through yesterdays game I remembered why. The announcers kept on saying that Jerry has really turned the program around and will do so even more over the next couple of years. Lol

That game was alot more lopsided than the score showed. The gophers' season officially ended with that loss! Had they won that game, I could see them winning 2 more games for sure! But now, going winless is very likely
