Good deal. They knew they had to get this done and they pulled it off. Jered deserves a bonus cause we all know it was him that did the sweet talking. However lets not forget we just lost one of the best slot receivers in the game. They need to add another one in the draft.

You can't blame these guys for wanting to cross the border into a modern society that isn't shadowed by incest and beer farts.....

What they really need right now is to sign Alexander or Heyward-Bey on the outside and let them blow the top off the defense. That'll open up Jennings, Rudolph and Wright to work the middle.

AP would like that too...

How much do we have left to spend? Looks like Jennings takes up roughly just over 9 mil in cap space, correct??? Spielman obvioiusly thinks Chong Simpson can blow the top off the defense, which is ludicrous, but i dont think we're gonna sign anyone else through FA unless its a LB....

I think Alexander has some sort of tender on him... but i believe its only a 5th or 6th rd. Id rather have him then heyward bust.

Heyward-Bey? Come on, I really hope you weren't serious. That guy is pure arse. Alexander? That guys weaker than circus lemonade. Zep, you had decent insight earlier but have been very sketchy as of late.

Alexander is 6'5" and 225...sounds pretty weak to me. Absolute beast last year for the Chargers.

Heyward-Bey doesn't need to be good...although he's not as bad as you may think. He just needs to keep safeties off the LOS...which his 4.3 speed would definately do.

Zep- Alexander was a stud last year. If anyone is injury prone he could be it though. Hasnt he got 2 fake knee's? What would we have left to sign him? You put him next to Jennings and the vikes could wait until the 3rd or 4th rd to take a wr and go all defense in the first and second

He's had cartlidge problems with his knees that he's had cleaned up quite a bit. He was finally healthy about the mid point last year. He has no tender on him and it would cost the Vikes maybe 2-4M tops to bring the guy in.

Spielman likes to take chances with guys like this and I can't think of a better player to bring in right now to take a chance on.

IMO, the potential reward on this guy far out-weighs the risk(price)....

The Vikings will be drafting MLB and DT in the 1st now that Jennings is signed...your Patterson dream just left the building when Jennings entered it.

Who's our #2? Simpson? Not a chance. Wright is a slot guy. We need a #2 and you know it, that's why you're putting out the wack pickups of Heyward-Bey and Alexander.

Why would we sign a #2 WR in the 1st round?

We could go CB too.

-Our starting MLB just signed with the Cardinals...which is a good thing.

-This will be KWills last year...another good thing.

-We just lost Winfield...not so good of a thing, IMO.

That's why...

They had to bring Allen to dinner, to let Jennings know that no matter how bad things get, the checks never bounced!

It's extremely rare that a WR will be a #1 their first year. It hardly ever happens. Honestly the only one I can think of that has done that is the Lions and they finally got one worth a dump. Zep, come on, start making some sence again.

$18 million guar.

That is like having the best houseboat on rainy lake but no motor to go anywhere. Its an absolute pipe dream to imagine Flounder can get Jennings the ball. He hasnt been able to make a full season in quite a few years. I think he has a great work ethic and attitude, but I just dont see how we get him the ball and how he stays healthy. Terrible move by the Queens.

Dr. Juice...think about it. Ponder is the QB. We need to invest in DEFENSE hard. We are not going to beat anybody by out-scoring them.

Keep the game close and PRAY at the end.....Ponder hasn't looked at the 2nd or 3rd option since he's been here...where do you think the ball is going to go now that Percy is gone?

Alright buck, I usually like hearing your insight but on this you are wrong. With this contract, he has to earn darn near all his money. If he isn't worth a darn, then the vikings cut him after 3 years at a cost of 18 million total, which equates to 6 million a year, which everyone would be happy with. People often look at the total money offered but never look at the guaranteed money, which is what really matters. With this low of a percentage of the total possible money offered as a guarantee, this is a great move.

    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
