Cub has Chicken leg quarters on sale in 10lb bags for $.49/lb so $4.90 for a big.  Very large, quite good chicken.

Was in Cub today in Brooklyn Park.  Pork Butts for .99 lb.  Lots of them around 9 lbs per..  Good time to load up for summer.

I love it that when you open the bag it looks like scrap lumber that has been charred.   Does the food taste better with 1x2 or 2x2 charcoal?

Woodbury Cub had them marked at $.36/lb but at checkout $.25/lb

And Silver Lake foods down here had FRESH racks at $1.99 lb..believe it or not. Now there's 2 more racks in the freezer...

Not sure why but some great sales this week at both of my favorite meat markets. Stokkes has chuck and rump roast at $2.99lb. Italian and breakfast sausage bulk at $1.99lb. Bacon for $3.99 sliced the way you want it. All brats for $2.99lb. Ribeyes for $7.99lb. 20lb LP tank fill for $10.00.

B & B  Meat Market has New York, T-Bone and Ribeyes for $7.99lb. Chuck roast for $2.99lb. Beef Brisket for $2.99lb. Whole porkbutt for $1.49lb.

Time to make up a batch of Old Fashion wieners and some Polish at that price.

Also 20lb propane tank fill is $10.00
