Just got back from Menards at Int. Falls. They have Hormel Black Label Thick Sliced Bacon for $6.99 a lb and gets you a $2 rebate so ends up $4.99 a lb. They have Cherrywood, Pecanwood, or Brown Sugar so I stocked up on all of them. OOPS the wife is printing off the rebate forms online and it is a limit of 4 rebates... Oh well I have a lot of bacon anyway...

The weekly ad this week for Target has turkey breast for .99 cents a pound. They also have spiral cut honey ham with a glaze sauce for $1.99 a pound.

If you are close to SuperOne they have Hormel Cure 81 ham on sale. Buy one get one free. They jack up the price but it is still a pretty good deal when you figure what the per pound price ends up costing you.

rinse rinse rinse. and a rub with zero salt is what I do. need them to go on sale here somewhere ! 2 racks of BB's left and plans for them in 2 weeks.

Back ribs and pork bellies(bacon) have come down the last 2 weeks so we should see some relief in prices at the store. If you see a good sale on ribs in the next couple of weeks I would buy them since this should be the bottome of the market. Just remember the injected ribs wont last as long in the freezer - about 3 months before you start to get some racidity, uninjectd can last up to a year. If your close to St Cloud you can hit Appert's Cash and Carry or in the cities Restaurant Depot will usually have uninjected ribs in case quantities(12-13 slabs a case). Pork butts are still rerally high as well as loins, havent seen butts this high in years.

Lunds' and Byerly's are having a seafood & meat sale thru this Wednesday the 21st. Just stopped at the Byerly's we have here in St. Cloud and Porterhouses, Choice T-bone and Opilio Snow Crab all $6.99/lb
