Starting 5 Lures on Bass Opener

Since Bass Opener is next weekend already.

What are your starting 5 lures going to be?

Oh wait it is March, not the middle of May.

Even though I fished today in shorts and a T shirt on Pool 2.

Can they move the Bass Opener to like April or something?

Would save some gas money not having to drive to Pool 2 and 4.

Same thing I do every year: throw all the ones I bought over the winter and haven't thrown before; even though their chances of success are slim to none. I just feel compelled to throw them because they are new.

I had such a blast last year catching a few pound and a half-ers on my 4wt (the trick I found is to move panfish poppers juuuuussst fast enough that your average bluegill can't/won't take it, get's the bass's attention as they gills give chase). I can't wait until I can give my bigger flies a shot!!
