+1 Funny how many Pisc-ists there are around here. OK with any dead burbot, but if you took a one-fin-in-the-grave record walleye out of a lake you are torn apart... grin

They had an article about him in the Bemidji paper this week. The stats on that fish are mind-boggling-36" length and a 24" girth. Wow!! I have seen a few that were half that size and they seemed huge, that is almost incomprehensible!

Disagree completely. Most on here know that to have a record certified, the fish is going to die. Nobody would begrudge a fellow angler who took a legit record fish. People DO however (and rightly so, IMO) give those who take the breeders - 21-26" fish - out of the system to eat. Big difference there.
