That thing is going to rack up nice circumference points. Not real wide, but that's only one number in the score. I'll buck the trend, but using conservative estimates on main beam, tine length, mass measurements, etc...this thing is going to gross into the 40's easily. Perhaps scare 150. Helluva buck - congrats!!

150's?

For the sake of debate, Boone and Crockett minimum entry is 160. Some of you think this buck approaches that?

It is truly impressive, I just dont see it even close to that. Right antler has only 4 significant scoreable points. Main beams are not long at all. Spread is maybe 16" tops.

Mass is truly impressive. But you dont gain a ton of inches on that.

Not creating an argument at all on this. What are some of you seeing that puts it into the 150's?

I do enjoy the discussions around this. Some people say, "who cares, great buck". I agree its an awesome buck.

For the record, I don't think its going to hit 160, but I bet its closer to 150 than 140. If that deer had a 20 inch spread, most people wouldn't bat an eye at it hitting 150. I think its going to gain in mass what it loses in spread. I also think the main beam length is decieving, I am betting its longer than one would think because it sweeps upward and forward, it doesn't extend straight out and go to the tips of the nose. The mass points are going to add up fast, and then take into account that there are 11 points.

As for Boone and crocket, the net score on the buck is not going to be good, there will be quite a bit of deductions as it is not symmetrical and that is what B&C likes, oh, wait, who cares, nets are for fishing.

Great Buck no matter what it scores.
