Dylan33
It's a little early for this, but what is the first lure that you will throw on your maiden bass outing this year?Mine is a brown and orange Northland Buck-A-Roo jig thrown up in the slop. Nick Kuhn
I started throwing that new clackin crank. Did manage one fish on it but it was running just a little too deep, so I switched to a flat rap that ran nicely over the weeds and that worked quite well. Plastics and jerkbaits had limited success when I tried those.
TurnUpTheFishing
probably a swim jig or fluke.
bassfshin24
I'll probably be throwing a 3/4oz red eye shad on mille lacs for those smallies. I'm guessing they are going to be prespawn and getting ready to move up shallow. Unlike the past two years, i dont think the smallies will be on their beds this year for opener. bassfshin24
That would be awesome Cecil. Got my fingers crossed. The past two years have been awesome for me up there. I did however catch my biggest smallie on opener last year on a spinnerbait...full of eggs and hadnt moved up on its bed yet.

Hester
Some kind of a jig for me. Now which jig is the problem. If I did not have so many than it would not be such a hard choice.
SluggoMaster
That's a tough one. I am going to let the conditions and water temperature decide that one.
