Lookin' for info on buildin' a fishhouse. Liked what I saw; have checked back constantly and like to browse the metro area, open/ice water and exp info forums.

I found FM looking for the Local Metro hot spots on the ice. I had a portable & all the gear but no info on where to fish on Tonka during the hard water. I had received a ton of info here and have never left.

I would like to thank Rick for the great site & info!!!!!!

I don't know what I would do with-out it & good luck to all on the water.

I and all the volunteer FM Pro Staff appreciate you. You make it fun as well as interesting.

It's also pretty cool from my viewpoint reading how all of you found FM.

FishingMN Family is an appropriate designation for all of you - I believe smile.gif

I was always drilling my friends for info, well one of them told me about this site. It did look way different back then. I didn't have much to say the first couple years.I registered Feb. of 2000. must have been around the very start of FM. When was FM first online?

I believe a friend pointed it out to me way back in early 2000. I was originally known as Bornofice, but decided to go with my real name so people could egg my house if I angered them. smile.gif

Jim W, Skeets, GullGuide (Tom Herman), Dark30, Fishhead (Dennis Steele), Guideman, Rick...I'm trying to recall all the original contributors. Anyone else remember when there was about 300 of us sharing knowledge and jabs.

I got the urge to head to URL to check out the slabs, & found this as a link on the Waskish Minnow Station site. Thanks to all who operate it, and all the FM contributors who selflessly offer tips and information to those not as experienced! It's great that the FM members are willing to share their experiences with everyone.

Coincidentally I found this site the same way several other people did. Winter/early spring of 2001 I was looking for info on URL, I think it was on the hudek's HSOforum, but I am not sure. It was one of the url sites. I think I had 250 plus posts, but when the system went down recently it lost my name so I reregistered under the same name and started over again. Anyways I think I origanally found this site in feb. of 2001.

Last fall I met rmh20 through another fishing site. We hooked up for a night of trolling on Mille Lacs last fall. He told me about this site and I have been hooked ever since. I spend most my time on Mille Lacs, Winni, and Green(Spicer). The info I get from this site on all three of these lakes keeps me coming back for more. Look for a lot more reports next summer.

Yes Mark (Lynn),

that's too bad. I missed ya too. Too bad your evil twin gets the better of you a little too often. frown.gif
