DTro
So let me get this straight, you want me to shovel 2ft of snow out of an ill prepared stadium, then show up to a game 2 hrs early in 5 degree weather to stand in line for the right to see who can run the fastest and claim a seat that I now have to sit in for 3 hours in fear that someone else might take it when I get up to take a leak and to top if off I get to watch a third string lame duck team play the division leader, and do this all while being completely sober? LOL I'm sure everyone will be MN nice and share their seats like grown adults and absolutely nobody will be packing a bottle of Schnaaps in their inside pocket. DTro
I think I'll go with the 50" HD kicked back in a Lazy Boy in front of a roaring fireplace with an approved drink in my hand and an option to turn the channel at a moments notice. so haaad
What I think is funny is that the U prohibits booze to be sold at the games but allows people to binge drink in their parking lots and even walk right up to the entry gates with booze in hand. So what's the difference if it's allowed in the stadium too, other than the loss of about half a million dollars or more in sales?Hot chocolate and schnapps, baileys, butter shots, etc.

Nick Kuhn
Fill a flask with your favorite liquor to mix with coke, then just order a 32 ounce coke. Make yourself a 32 ounce cocktail.
FISHINGURU
I think I'll go with the 50" HD kicked back in a Lazy Boy in front of a roaring fireplace with an approved drink in my hand and an option to turn the channel at a moments notice. Thats the main reason I don't want to go to any Vikings game this year because I can't turn the channel and watch the better games lol. Antero
Can a guy drink enough to make the Purple look good? I know I can make a 5 seem like a 10 but I am not sure there is enough liquor in Dinkeytown to make this outfit look good.......

Gotta love the options you have at home without paying for the game and suffering in the cold!
goblueM
general admission is really the only way to go - they already sold all the tickets, and its a different stadium with a lower capacitydon't understand the booze thing, but oh well. not like the admission matters, vikings fans are pretty fair weather anyways, be surprised if a capacity crowd shows up

LightningBG
I would have thought they would have figured out some way to exchange out all the seats for new seat numbers and if people didn't want to exchange they could get a refund. I'd actually wanted to buy some tickets and go, but I'm not going to go through that mess. I'd only go if I had an assigned seat.

Stcloudangler
Well the way the Bears are crying about it already, it has created a buzz. For a team that plays outdoors at home, what the heck are they whining about? The bank field has a heating system that produces 4,000,000 BTU's, I think they dont have to worry about playing on a frozen field. Babies.
creepworm
And I really don't see the difference between playing on a frozen field and playing on carpet covered concrete. I realize there is a couple inches of rubber but it can't help that much. And there didnt used to be that even.
