Any guesses on the score?

What do you guys think this deer will score? I will be picking the rack up from the tavidermist and getting it scored so I will let you know what it measures out at.

Here is some info to help you out. The G2 on the left side is just over 13 inches and the spread is narrow at just over 16 inches.

High 170's. I would say 179 1/2" Great buck.

I really hope you are wrong about that one! Haha. I know there are bucks as big or bigger in the area and my strategy is to sit every day I can for archery, rifle and muzzleloader season until one walks by. I think I have a chance at a bigger one.

I got the rack from the taxidermists today. Put the tape to it. Came up wit 20 scorable points and a gross score of 199 6/8! I know it will shrink during the drying period and I am not an official scorer by any means. I do however know how to read a tape and I cant imagine being off by more than a couple of inches. What a Deer!!

like i posted earlier get ahold of jerry fausone in gilbert he's an official scorer and if it makes Boone, he can enter it for you if your interersted. no offense but you can be off by a couple inches easily on a nontypical rack, although yours appears straight forward for a nontypical. what was the net?

It wont make the book but it made my year! And even if I am off by 10 inches I am still happy with it! It nets a little over 178 according to what the B&C HSOforum said when I punched the numbers into it. I think thats pretty good considering the narrow rack and the broken of brow tine. Thanks to everyone for the congratulations! I have Jerrys number saved on my cell phone but dont plan on calling him until the rack dries.

I shot a really nice one a couple of years ago and a couple other nice ones a few years before that. This is my biggest deer so far. It pays to pass up the little ones if you have the time to hunt.
