I love the Twins and really want to see them advance, but like many others don't think we have much of a chance. There is very little room for error against this team as far as pitching goes and the way our pitchers have been going lately????

On the other hand the Yankees pitchers are very suspect as well so maybe our guys can step up and knock in some runs. Will be fun to watch regardless of what happens.

I just hope that we can get this curse of the Yankees off our back. It would be great to get back to the big dance one more time. You would think that the Yankees would be a very tired team considering there age but I am sure they are reminded just how much they make and that will get there attention pretty quick.

The Yanks have not been playing that great but they will still be very hard to beat in a 5 game series due to their pitching. CC is tough on the Twins and should pitch 2 games which will more than likely be 2 wins for them.

You get past C.C. and they got nothing. The Yanks are a very beatable team this year as you'll all find out Wednesday.

If the Yankees got nothing and are so beatable, how did they win 95 games in a division with a team that won 96 games and a 2 other teams that won 89 and 88 games?

Nothin' but negative with you is it Dave? We were hoping your 3000th post would be something positive, but no. Just more of the same. grin

They won 95 games with a much different team than what they're playing with right now.

Sorry for not being Sid Hartman but how is their team different from what it was earlier in the year?

But the record shows this season that the Yanks handed it to them in the win dept.

Nothing wrong with dreaming but if we look at reality, the Yanks win.

The Twins will need a huge bag of magic tricks.

If we had a healthy Morneau and he had been playing for a month already and all the rest of the team was 100%, then I would give them a much better chance.

I know I haven't recovered from some of the Viking Super loss's as a kid but to suggest you are glad we don't have one of the best closers to ever play the position is laughable and it hurts immensely not having him.

I do get the Trauma though guys! wink

It's the easy road "safety blanket" and safe to pick the defending World Champs that have a 200 plus million dollar pay roll and they best pitcher in baseball pitching 2 of the 1st 4 games.

What the Twins do have going for them is it's baseball and you have to get it done on the field and not on PAPER!

Not having Morny or Nathan hurts but if you look at history it doesn't matter one lick how we played the last month.

Along with the many other examples I think it was 99 when the Yankee's lost 13 of there lasts 16 and they steam rolled through the play-offs to the title.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
