we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted August 18, 2010 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted August 18, 2010 I like the way Chilly goes out of his way and gets players that he thinks can help us win, guy's like Jared,Percy,Favre, ect. Examples, like doing the research and talking to people close to Jared before trading for him, Going down to talk to Percy and his family before drafting him, checking up on Favre to see how he's doing. Chilly's play calling and coaching on the field is suspect at times (I totally can understand if some don't like him as a coach), most of that was due to poor QB play prior to Favre, the one that burns the most is the to many men in the huddle after coming off a time out that pretty much cost us the Championship game last season. The Vikes have a mean squad and if people don't see that they are haters, Chilly has been apart of it all, our team was pretty bad after we got rid of Moss, now we have a team with tons of star power and alot of promising young talent. Zigy has been my favorite owner of all time forsure, none of this would of been possible without him giving the go ahead and forking out the cash!! It's nice to have an owner in MN that is actually hungry to win like the fans, Hopefully we can get that stadium!!!! SKOL Now you're talking +1 FG
Cooter
Oh you poor, delusional mudducks, getting yourselves all worked up again. Why do you do it to yourselves, you all know deep down there will be no ring this year, or the next, or the one after that, or....had your chance last year and botched it. You know why the Queens don't eat breakfast?
tgruenke
Because when they get near a bowl they choke! It's funny becuase it is true.I would love to see the Packers make a run at it again. Here's another jokeWhat does halloween and the Vikings Superbowl Trophy case have in common? Mudcutter
Peyton Manning has not fared that well over the years in big games. also-- John Elway, Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Donavan Mcnabb,, do you need any more???
Dark Cloud
Born2Fish - Nice video Ok, here is the diff between Normal and Purple fans.... That video you posted... If it was Farvra getting tackled like that... there would be an 8 page thread the day after the loss about how there should have been a flag for a head tackle or facemask... and how its always the refs fault... there is a worlwide conspiricy against teams who dont have a ring, ect, ect... p.s. - I do believe it was legal play... Antero
Not sure how I could check out the others you named. I do not think that they threw quite as many interceptions at the end of winnable games tho. I might add that the picks #4 threw we terible, others were open, etc.
FISHINGURU
He's a gunslinger, he wouldn't be who he is today if he didn't throw the ball around like he's playing some back yard ball!! Get over it, it's been that way for 20 years lol.
Mudcutter
as a past QB,, some INT's are the fault of the QB, some are the result of the WR not running the route expected,, but ALWAYS, the QB is blamed. it comes with playing QB. Bernie Kosar-- another choker that's gets the blame for Byner's fumble on a clear path to endzone,,, aka 12 men in the huddle agst the saints. the Vikes were in the pos to win the NFC title game becasue of 5 lettes F A V R E. greebs
word out now is that the three more or less told him to $hit or get off the toilet but either way make up your mind. presuming that is accurate, glad to hear that is how it played out rather than them begging him to come back. makes it sound like the ankle must not have been bothering him too much so guess that's a good thing healthwise. Dave S
Any chance that if Favre doesn't get a ring this year, he comes back as a coach? We did far better when Favre was calling the plays at the line. After this year, kick Chilly's arse out and pay Farve to come back as a coach after this season.
