PikeBayCommanche
Can't stand to watch when he comes in. Horrible.

tweedlap
He must not be too bright. There is 2 out in the ninth and he has a 1 ball, 2strike count on thebatter and he grooves one right down the middle. Moron. He needs a little time in the minors to reflect on what a stupe he is.tweed
harvey lee
Tweed, I believe you meant the eight. Rausch pitched the ninth.Yes, ol Crain can go at any time for me. He seems to give up too many games for when he does well.
koonie
This guy has been horrible for years. He must have blackmail photos of somebody otherwise he'd be working at Hardees. Awful. Just awful. You can't tell me there isn't somebody better in the minors or down by the river or walking down the street or living in a dumpster.
Rippinlip
Jesse "train wreck" has to go!!!!!When our starters go that deep and pitch that good, only to see "trainwreck" come in and give up the lead.....Farm system or whatever you do... SledNeck
The other pitchers need to get together and give Crain a blanket party with bars of soap like on FMJ.
PikeBayCommanche
The other pitchers need to get together and give Crain a blanket party with bars of soap like on FMJ. Hahaha. Just want to close my eyes when he calls for Crain. Like others have said we have to have someone in the minors that can pitch as good as Crain. zamboni
Personally, its a coin flip between him and Guerrier. Both stink IMO
harvey lee
Trouble is, they cannot dump the whole bullpen. We have been very lucky in the past seasons with our bullpen. They are not that bad but there are a few issues.Other issues is, good bullpen dudes cost and the Twins at this time probably don't have alot of extra funds to buy some good relievers.Overall, we are still doing pretty good in the win column. Come the playoffs, that could be a different story and were it will all end.
mrklean
frank pitched a great game and lose the game crain came in and almost blew the whole game, there should be another W for frank
kyleharty
Another Crainwreck, at least we were able to recover this time. Don't think he handles pressure situations well, loses his composure when the games on the line. Seems to pitch better when there's nothing at stake. Gotta agree with the consensus, wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone.
DonBo
Personally, its a coin flip between him and Guerrier. Both stink IMO Seriously? You're gonna put Guerrier in the same league as Crain? Guerrier has been awesome and with an ERA of .167, he's actually one of the best relievers in baseball. How do you even compare him to Crain and his .547???
zamboni
I can compare Guerrier to Crain because whenever they stick Guerrier in the game I have visions of fastballs getting hit into the stands. Case in point- Yankees game. Wasn't first time that had happened and he blew a game.
zamboni
I remember this like it was yesterday, at All Star break there was a buzz about possible Cy Young. "In 2005 he made the major league roster. Starting the season 8-0, he set a record for most consecutive wins in relief to start a career."
auggie78
He is horrible. Its my theory that Gardy just puts him in when he doesn't care anymore if the twins win or lose
mrklean
Guerrier has had a great year so far he tends to get worse at the end of the year after pitching in 72-80 games and is tired
solbes
I'm a fan of Matty (and always will be), but not of Jesse. As soon as I saw him warming up on Saturday night, I told my Dad that we were going to lose the lead. He didn't disappoint either. Good thing they intentionally walked our guy in the 9th. Nick Kuhn
He throws a batting practice fastball. Sure it has some velocity, but he can never put it in a good location and it doesn't move at all. I don't know how he does it either because it's hard to throw a baseball that straight. As long as a batter can catch up to it (which everyone in the majors can) they stand a really good shot at hitting it off the sweet spot.Guerrier really doesn't have any better pitches than Crain, but he locates them a lot better and his fastball has a little movement. Fastballs belt high and down the middle land it the seats. Fastballs down and away are groundballs to the shortstop.
OnAFly
...And Crain comes in to steal the win!!!...from Liriano If I were Franky, I wouln't be on speaking terms with Crain.
zamboni
Crain made Ichiro look horrible the other night, and Ichiro is one of the best hitters in the game. IDK, he's on and off.
JBMasterAngler
He's off 8 out of 10 times.
mr_jman
Finally a thread about a guy they really should get rid of... So he's been "on" a little lately. He still makes me nervous EVERY time he comes out of that pen... I think the Twins are going to lose the game no matter what the lead is.
8-Ball
Zam- Guerrier is a major league pitcher. Crain is a town ball pitcher in a major league uniform. Period.
JBMasterAngler
I refuse to believe somebody in triple A can't come up and replace him immediately. So yeah, he really must have some blackmail pics that nobody wants out in the public
