How many feel to embarrassed to post because you feel you should be out fishing today and everybody will know that you are not?

I should be fishing. It's absolutely beautiful outside today.

Not to embarrassed, just cleaning the garage/squareing away the house cause I know thursday I'm gone for a week for all the fishing fun I can handle

Today is about a manufactured "event", not fishing.

I'm sitting in class...My MBA class gave us last weekend off but has class all day today and tomorrow. Plus I just welcomed my son to the family last Friday so I probably wouldn't the OK to go anyway.

Beautiful day here today and I have two boats and a camper to get ready for the summer. One boat is ready and today I start on the camper. Too many toys I guess.

Waiting until later in the afternoon. Figure by the time I get out there traffic will be down and not too many peopel around to bug a person.

I always figure that fishing in the opener crowd is like going out partying on New Years Eve. Leave it to the amateurs and crazies. Since I'm working this weekend, I'll have days off in the middle of the week. I like having the water more to myself.

It's a little too warm and sunny today for me anyway.

Give me a weekday, partly cloudy, 60 degrees and a bit of a breeze any day.

I went out this afternoon on a small lake with my 2yo. The only thing we caught was the pole she dropped in the water. Ahh memories:)

Mowed 5 schools and a townhouse today. I agree with everyone else, who wants to go fishing with people that don't know how to back up the boat, then once they do, they remember they forgot to take the straps off the back of the boat.
