"Everyone was throwing down some good games on PS3 last night. I dont think we lost until we hit that shotgun team on firing range. I started 0-8 that match until I finally caved and pulled out my shotty class and at least made it to 15-15. We'll have to figure out how to get you in Deitz. Maybe you host it?"

I was laughing so hard when i got dietz's message,"good gawd I give up." 4 guys were contiuously spaming him with invites and he still couldn't connect. My wife yelling at my 5yr old also provided some entertainment. I was on fire after riverrat and dietz left. I had 2 or 3 games with 20+ killstreaks playing with crappiekiller, thunder and vuja-de. I put 2 of the matches in my films section. I started camping with the G11 a little and found it works better than the commando.

Patch 1.04 is nearing the end of Phase 2 testing. Going into Phase 3 submissions on 12/6.

Issues Addressed:

* • Resolved several issues with parties getting disbanded unexpectedly.

* • Additional measures to prevent the “Transmission error” and other disconnects. This was most likely to occur with large parties where party members had mixed NAT types.

* • Updated handling for UPnP-enabled routers to improve matchmaking conditions where users had strict or moderate NAT types. Also added in-game communications so that all players are aware of their NAT type in the Player Match party lobby.

* • Addressed an issue with VOIP icons not appearing when USB headsets were plugged in prior to game launch.

* • Prevention of exploit that allowed players to keep custom classes and killstreaks after prestige.

* • Addressed an issue where Flak Jacket Pro would not always protect against ground fires left by Napalm Strikes.

* • Prevention of users losing their killstreak reward when switching classes at the start of a new round in round-based game modes.

* • Addressed an issue where the incorrect perks would appear when spectating another player under certain circumstances.

* • Added round start explosive delay to China Lake grenade launcher to give it the same round start limitations as other explosives.

* • Contracts will now reset when the player Prestiges.

* • Prevention of Valkyrie rocket exploding upon release under rare conditions.

* • Prevention of Gunship and Chopper Gunner failing to give player full control under rare conditions.

* • Prevention of an issue where a player will get teleported outside the map boundaries under very specific circumstances.

* • Additional security measures to enhance detection and banning capabilities.

Gameplay Tuning:

* • Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops.

* • Added a negative influencer to all spawn points to decrease the chances of spawning near an enemy. This will further improve spawning protection on top of previous updates.

* • Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types.

* • Increased headshot multipliers for sniper rifles. Sniper rifles with suppressors equipped will now always be ensured one-shot kill headshots.

* • Subtle increase in sniper rifle accuracy when scoping in.

* • Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner. When a player first spawns, this will not appear for a period of time.

* • Additional minor reductions in knife lunge.

PS3 Patch 1.04 goes live at 2:00AM PST.

Got them in the mail yesterday.. Only played 2 games.. but wow.. it did help.. I was able to turn my controller up another notch of sensitivity.. will maybe take a little time to get fully used to. .but decent little product.

Yeah, I hate second chance, but you know they will never totally get rid of it.

I do like the fact that you can be revived though. Maybe just take away the pistol or something??

Seriously second chance is ridiculous. EVERY time they go down you pretty much die unless you are still shooting when they go down. Even if you run away and reload when you come back they get you every time. Watch the kill cams next time too. Its like when you go down to second chance they get aimbot. They are firing like crazy all over the place and all the bullets seem to be heat seeking and bam you are dead.

Yesterday had 5/6 laggy games and just got massacred. Got so ticked off I took it out and put in MW2.

Hopefully the patch helps. There is some negative feedback about the patch on the BOPS forums already......... Downloading patch now.

I red the patch updates, I am not to happy about it. Seems they are just addressing the needs of the players that suck or just use sniper rifles the whole time.

The gunship spawn thing ticks me off.

Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner. When a player first spawns, this will not appear for a period of time.

this just means when I kill a guy with a rocket, he will respawn I wont be able to see him and boom dead helicopter. This will be the end of people using gunner. It won't stay in the sky long enough to do its work.

Cause that is realistic? so as long as you have ninja pro on you will hear enemy amplified foot steps.....

I will be looking forward to Infinity Ward doing the next COD.

Just the game. It probably wont say/do anything until you put the disc in or try to play Black Ops, then you will get prompted to DL the new patch.

yep, try to play the game and it will ask to update. I didnt notice anything different after the update on xbox but I only played a couple of rounds though.
