fishersofmen
Well we handed them the game 5 different ways and they finally took it. Always next year........
nofishfisherman
I don't feel like talking to anyone in person right now. We had no less the 5 chances to take this game. Favre's decision at the end of regulation that was about the worst mistake anyone could make given the situation and what was needed. Run 3-4 yards and slide, and send Longwell onto the field. The fumbles were ridiculous as well. I've never seen that kind of a plague hit a team and such a bad time. We gave this game away

Burnham
i hate nfl overtimes...as much as people are gunna complain about the officiating at the end of the game, we had some ridiculous calls go our way in the beginning.
tadster
what game were u watching? outgained them 471 to 264....they had 77 yards in the 2nd half before ot...the vikes d shut them down...are you kidding me? favre was under pressure the whole game...took a beating. and had them in the position to win and childress(rtard) and his playing calling put them out of field goal range. real simple..run the ball 3 times, get a few more yards...kick the field goal and get read for the Colts. trying to confuse the saints with different packages those last 3 plays?....what an [PoorWordUsage]. then comes the 12 men in the huddle penalty due to that. Childress is an rtard...will never be a championship team with him running the show.

tadster
yeah...I am sure you are glad about us having that maroon for a coach. yeah, favre made a bad throw at the end, but they should have just run the ball...shouldnt have been in 3rd and 15 anyhow. would maybe have made the playoffs as a wildcard team without Favre...so he didnt break my heart...this is typical for this franchise...find a way to lose... LMITOUT
Favre is probably feeling like Romo did last week....beat up. He took a thumping tonight but the ol' Silver Fox kept on getting up.

Yeah I agree! We still should have been able to stop them in OT, but didn't. That was our job to stop them. We couldn't do it. We have no excuses. Half the defense is Pro Bowlers. Shut them down the 2nd half and couldn't stop them when the game was on the line. Purple is a fitting team color for chokers!I think this game was just karma biting us in the rear-end for the play calling at the end of last weeks game. As fun as that 4 & 3 play was, it was like they played that game as their SB.

I didn't think it was possible but he EARNED even more of my respect after tonights game. 40 years old...absolutely UNBELIEVABLE. I hope he comes back next year but I have a gut feeling he won't...it's just so hard to get back to this point and I think (know) that's all that matters to him. BlueLundFishrman
Vikings would win this match for sure in the Big Inflatable. Being in NO, will be a tough game for sure. Vikes in a nail biter.I keep waiting for the return of our running game. Is it coming back? Saints in a nail biter. Vikes running game returned, along with a new wrinkle, team fumblitis. BlueLundFishrman
Turnovers Turnovers Turnovers....and our D-line is pretty good... GO VIKES! Turnovers...good call
BlueLundFishrman
Our secondary does a good job when the D-line plays like they did against the Cowboys. Lol. Just can't give Brees alot of time to throw the ball. Our defense beat Dallas and its going to take our defense to beat the Saints. If they come out with the same mentality we win the game. Dallas went into New Orleans when they were undefeated and took care of buisness. We all saw what we did to Dallas. We should win this game!!! Shouldn't turn the ball over so much if you want to win
BlueLundFishrman
The Vikes are underdogs in this contest. That always helps them, especially when they are an elite team like this year.I think they are good enough and I expect them to win.New Orleans should keep us worried about the outcome until the final whistle. Yeah they sure kept you worried until the final whistle. Close game. We all know where close counts.
BlueLundFishrman
We are officially in the Super Bowl. Trent Dilfer has picked the Saints to win easily. Remember what this clown said last week that the Cowboys would do to us....... Oops. Your definition of "officially" must be different than mine. Looks like your the clown this week. BlueLundFishrman
I see some of the matchups like this:Brees vs. Favre Advantage Brees... home crowd, better scheme in my opinionPeterson/Taylor vs. Bush/Thomas Advantage Peterson/Taylor Bush looked good last week, he even broke a few tackles.. that won't happen again and a few good licks to Thomas' cracked ribs and he'll be slowed down... AP is due to bust a big run and against NO blitz happy defense, that is exactly what will happenOur DLine vs. their OLine Advantage Our DLine... it is the best in football and I think our DLine will force NO to abandon the run... Too many bad things can happen when you throw it all the time......In my opinion the Vikes just need to hold their own the first 10 minutes... no big mistakes, don't give NO any big plays. This will help to quiet the crowd and make the game a bit more conservative which benefits us in my opinion...I love breaking down matchups, but the bottom line is you have to win the turnover battle, you do that and you win! Bottom line, the Saints won the turnover battle.

fishersofmen
We all know who the clown is bluelund........someone from South Dakota who is bitter because they dont have a pro football team of there own to cheer for. In order to make up for their empty and unhappy life they slither over to a forum with a thread on the Minnesota Vikings and bash their team and anyone who cheers for them in an attempt to gain some false satisfaction. Now go back to your moms basement and find something else to do.........
LMITOUT
Well I guess MN's pro football team still has the same number of Super Bowl trophies that the SD team does. I thought this may be the year MN one-up's SD but it didn't happen.
