croixflats
Good one Dave! He said MOUNT... I woke up the house when I read that . The second part "packer fans are odd" was great to.All clean fun. Off topic but Steve is that bird on your head tap dancing.
DTro
Sure I’ll take that bet, and I get to mount the Avatar of my choice. You are really going out on a limb choosing your own picture.
Steve Foss
You are really going out on a limb choosing your own picture. It's hard enough getting beaten twice this season by the purple. Why would I want to inflict even more pain on myself? You guys are here to do it for me. So mount up, fellas, and let the pain continue! It's a safe bet anyway. You guys aren't going to win the big one.
Cooter
I love this stuff, just made my morning! Can't wait for the excuses to flood in when the Queens fail to win the big one......AGAIN!!!
Scott K
At least the Vikes have a chance to get to the big one and fail! I would like to see them at least get the the SB. If they get there and lose, so be it, at least I was watching my team in the SB, instead of a rival
Cooter
I hear ya, you guys are due. Pack fans had lots of good years - this isn't one of them. Thats what I love about the NFL, sooner or later(as in the case of the Queens!), you are gonna have a good year(s).
Mudcutter
Lots of good years??? depends on what is good. Eddie Lee Ivory as RB and Bart Starr as Coach are not good years. Couple that with Lynn Dickey,, and you have really bad years.Like a previous poster said,, you have 1 title that really counts,, and it counts because of #4.Lynn Dickey, Eddie Lee Ivory,, I always liked those days..... Dickey and Ivory--

Scott K
For me, I only count the ones I was old enough to remember, ones that I was able to witness, beyond that, it really doesn't matter what happen. So for anyone less then 45 years old, that consist of 1!
Driftless
Packers won championships before there was a Super Bowl. Before the leagues merged. **FIVE* of them that I have seenthe rings and watches from.So 5 NFL Championships and 3 Superbowl Championships.Badger you say 12....which ones am I missing? Please remind me how many the Minnesota Vikings have? so haaad
Sweet! If we can count the "way back when" days then we can say that the gophers are six-time national champs and so much better than the Badgers too!

LMITOUT
Badger you say 12....which ones am I missing? The Packers claim 12 World Championships, the most in the NFL (the next closest team is the Chicago Bears, with nine). The first three were decided by league standing, the next six by the NFL Title Game, and the final three by Super Bowl victories. The Packers are also the only team to win three straight NFL titles, having accomplished this twice (1929–1931 and 1965–67).
Steve Foss
well most of us here have enough pride to go with our home team........................ must be nice to pick and choose teams out of a hat then brag about superbowl trophies......................... The Packers are my home team. I was born in LaCrosse early in the Vince Lombardi era and lived there until I was 10. Which also, for me, puts those '60s championships in the modern era, not just the 1996 one. Being born at that time and place and into that environment, there's simply no way I'd be a fan of anyone but the Packers. So I'd be stuck with my home team even if they'd gone to the championship game a number of times and never won it. But hey, that's just me. And to be honest, I'm not a rabid fan. If the Pack lose, I don't shout at the wife or kick the dog or rip on my co-workers on Monday morning. I see quite a few football fanatics who seem to have their whole sense of self esteem wrapped up in the performance of a single football team. Not the way I roll. I don't "hate" other teams, either. It is fun once in awhile to pound one's chest and let out a Tarzan yell over all those Pack championships because it never fails to get a rise out of some Vike fans who have a chip on their shoulder the size of the HHH over never having won one. It's all just sports talk. Not anything really important.

Steve Foss
Hey, I know the Packers aren't going to be winning any Super Bowls this year. Hope you have your day in the sun so you can start barking with the big dogs. To this point, it's been a lot of whining, cringing, rolling on your backs and peeing on yourselves. Well, not surprising. That's what submissive dogs do. How's that old urine smell workin for ya? Arf, arf! But no, smack talk aside I really do hope you shake that monkey off your back. Be nice to talk as equals, finally.

kitchy
the Packers didn't win you the only Super Bowl you've won in the modern era, Brett Farve did. without Farve you would have been sub .500 like you will be going forward. I guess the rest of the team could've stayed home that day.

When you packer backers get a real team it would be nice to talk with you as our equals then you can stop whining, cringing, rolling on your backs and peeing on yourselves. Yes, Steve as you so eloguently stated that's what submissive dogs who've been whipped twice in the present season do.
zamboni
The Packers are my home team. I was born in LaCrosse early in the Vince Lombardi era and lived there until I was 10. Boy, that is DEEEEEEEEP into Packerland there. Less than a mile from the Minn/Wi border, but about 200 miles to Green Bay. Yeah, that makes sense

Speaking of submissive dogs, what happened to the green and gold puppies against what arguably used to be the worst team in the NFL until they played the pack today?
