Cooter
Well you guys are going from waiting to see if some young guys could play to waiting to see if an old veteran can still play.
DonBo
I sure hope #4 is going to (finally) lead us to the promised land...but I doubt it. I can root for him if he has a good year, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.Going to be an interesting season that's for sure.
LMITOUT
Ladies and Gentlemen.....we got'm Deanna even looks hot from the KSTP chopper.
Scott K
The one advantage he will have, is he WILL open up the run for Peterson, I smell an all time rushing record this year!
Gary Crichton
He has to stay healthy, and that will be key. He may not last 4 games.
crothmeier
haha there is 108 people viewing this forum.is that a record or close to?
LMITOUT
Stay healthy? He hasn't missed in game, ever!
Shack
This was way too big for both parties to let pass (pass or fail). Zigly I am sure (I know this has been said before) had this scripted to a T two years ago. I am glad the see Favray here now. If not for playing, for getting a new stadium. If I hate one thing about the Vikes, it is the Dome
Fazerfish
Does this mean that T Jack will be let go?or will it be Booty.........
Jim Almquist
He is on his way to practice as we speak.
solbes
Stay healthy? He hasn't missed in game, ever! You forget that long stretch that was propped up with Vicadin As much as I have loved to hate #4, I have to say I am a little relieved he's going to join the Purple. AP deserves his chance with a competent QB that can beat the 8 and 9 man fronts.
Jim Uran
Cool pic!! I say it's a great deal. Finally someone with a ton of experience, and who CAN READ A DEFENSE, and not have to check down everytime. #28's stock just went up even higher!!! Gary Crichton
1 GOOD HIT AND THAT GUY WILL GO DOWN LIKE A ROCK. I hope not as this will open up AP even more as said b-4. The older you get the more it hurts and takes longer to recover. I hope it works out.
walleyes12
I more than excited today! #28 is going to be a wrecking ball this year! No more 8 or 9 in the box! Look out!!
bullyfish
Waiting with debit card in hand for the jerseys to be released!!!
analyzer
I don't care whether he's here or not. I just wanna go stand on the 94 bridge with a big board that says:HA HA HA HA HA
bullyfish
Analyzer...I don't care what anybody says THAT is funny!
eyehunter
Yep, there is no way that opposing defenses can stack 8 in the box now with the threat of the gun slinger behind center. And Gary, how will they get to him to hit him?? Did you see that mountain of a man at right tackle last friday night?? If you didn't, he looks just like the other one on the left side. That's probably another reason why he decided to sign. Gary Crichton
Believe me I don't want that to happen, but it won't take much.Check this out. go to http://bit.ly/xC5Jo The guy needs a chill pill.
Bandit
Sounds to me like he is a little worried about his Bears And for the record I am happy to see Favre coming to the Vikes.
Scott K
Well it is official now, the contract was signed
DHanson
I'd like to see the terms to this contract. As far as having to play so many games in order to earn so much money. He could get hurt on the first snap of the first game of the year and get paid millions to sit on the sideline all year. A lot of good that would do.
Gary Crichton
Your right DHanson it had better be an incentive laden contract. Minimum signing bonus. Anybody want to throw a number out there.
pikehunter
Not true DHanson. NFL contracts are not guaranteed. So, if he were hurt with a season-ending injury, he could be cut and the contract would be prorated.
Jim Uran
HOLY SHEEP $#!+, that is unbelieveable.... Wow is all I can say!!! Can't wait!!!!!!
