What if you are going to be getting married during the middle of the license season? I was just thinking about this today and wondering if it has to be official prior to purchasing the license?

Without a doubt do not marry the girlfriend you will be way ahead financially to stay single and buy a license for you and her.If your interested in keeping more fish then I would consider haveing two or three girlfriends !

We bought combination license last year and we're not married. Even used our real last names. They didn't ask any questions. Who would carry their marriage license/ certificate with them. Oh yea, non-resident too.

Is it bad that my wife buys the license for us every year?? Tells you who wears the pants..... Hoping to finally catch the first fish of the year out of our boat. My wife has caught the first fish the last 4 years in a row. I guess I just married well.
