we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted March 4, 2009 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted March 4, 2009 I haven't heard of them but the Miracle Blade II set is VERY GOOD!!!
IceHawk
Yes my wife bought a set and to be honest I was a little skeptical about them and thought she was crazy paying what she did for them. But in all honesty we have had the set for 5 yrs and it was the best investment on knives we have made. They are gurranteed forever and always keep a good edge. We use them all the time and I am always amazed how good they hold up and how sharp they are. I also have there fillet knife and it's the best fillet knife I have had to date! Ralph Wiggum
I have a co-worker who sold them in college. She claims they are the real deal. I'll put my Wusthofs up against them any day, but it sounds like they're good knives.

At that time my mom sent them in to be re-sharpened there were no charges (at least at that time)and they came back all polished up as well. I really like them. $pendy but nice."hooks"
Bigsmitty
They say they are the sharpest blade in the industry. I saw them on the TV show modern marvels. Cool show. I have there fillet knife too. By far the best fillet knife I've owned. Three years and tons of fish and still as sharp as the day i bought it.

Coach Dog
Great knives. I have the fillet knife and the field knife for dressing deer. Best I've used.Do they replace them free of charge if you break? I thought you have to pay 1/2 price. I was stupid and pry'd the tip of my knife last year dressing a deer and snapped the tip off.

I thought you have to pay 1/2 price. I was stupid and pry'd the tip of my knife last year dressing a deer and snapped the tip off. That happened to me too... I just sent it in with a note saying the tip broke while gutting a deer and they sent me a brand new one for free (minus the return shipping). Its pretty easy to get a replacement for free if you didn't use it to try to saw through an aluminum rod or something (misuse or abuse). hoggs222
What do the cutco's run? I've looked online, but they want you to contact someone. I've got a Wusthof set that I'm more than happy with, but I'm curious on the price of these. Usually not cheap if they're not posted. Kinda like the saying if you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it!
harvey lee
I do believe a starter block of ten knives would run approx $350.00. Thats varies and they seem to always have live a knife a month deal.I do believe the company likes the consumer to see first hand how great these knives are before they tell the price. many say they are to spendy but they have never held one in their hands.Awesome knives and I do believe second to NONE. Ralph Wiggum
That's pretty comparable to Wusthof and Henckels--not out of line for good knives.
Phred52
BK19, Cutco has a booth at the Sports Show in the Twin Cities this weekend, in case you're interested.
goblueM
For what its worth i got a henckel's 7 piece set and block at target for less than $100 and have been very happy with them. You can spend a ton more and get much better knives, but the value just isn't there unless you're a hardcore chef

You'd have to pry mine out of my cold, dead hands!
harvey lee
I agree 100% Ralph. I never thought a knife could be so sharp.
Phred52
A truly sharp and well maintained knife is a pleasure to use. A semi-sharp knife is a chore and a dull knife is a DANGER!! Think of how many 'chefs' have been injured trying to force a dull knife through meat only to slice into themselves, just through sheer force!! A GOOD, SHARP, QUALITY knife set is worth it's weight in GOLD. It's something EVERYONE should own before it's too late. Phred52
harvey lee
If one is looking for a great knife to cut slices off as block of cheese, check out their cheese knife. I use to hate cutting slices of cheese and this new design makes it a breeze.
