went back to the sauk. the water was higher than before due to rain. the walleyes (as well as everything else) were keying in on crawlers

we only got a few walleyes, all were small. we are gonna go back tomorrow

Was a busy July on Chequamegon Bay for walleyes.. And they are still going strong here in August..

Its been slower lately, but still gettin some BIG fish, weather patterns have made it tough, Was out beginning of august, and was wishing i had my coat and bibs on, she was a bit chilly!!

man, i really need to get into some bigger walleyes, i'm averageing about 8 fish per trip right now but all are 12-15" ugh...

Well, with my 2009 open water walleye fishing mostly over here are a few of the highlights: Thanks for the memories to all who shared my boat. No real big fish, but each trip produces very good numbers.

Everyone of those eyes were released.My personal slot for eaters is 14-18 inch.

I thought to show that we release those bigger eyes instead of killing them just to show them off to our family and friends.

Let em go let em grow!

Anyone can keep them ,but to let them go shows a bit more about the fisher and that they are a true sportsperson and conservationist.

I will be getting a replica made.That 29 incher was a gas to catch and she'll be bigger the next time we meet!
