I was going after crappies to begin with, but my spot was taken by about 6 of these

All still swimming, even those crappie spot thieves

Caught this guy the other night while trying to catch bullhead for catfishing. Right around 10" ...

Here's a nice 11 incher I caught at the crappie contest at Lake Minnetonka. I measured it before I threw it on the pan. Interesting face color.
