Actually shot these in 2004. Had the dogs out for a walk and this guy got nervous they were around. Had the camera along and took advantage of the situation. Canon 10D and 70-300 IS.

as indicated by the notch in his right ear and what appears to be a scar across it's nose. This little critter definitely has some fight left.

They are vicous little animals. My Lab got too close to one up at our lake a few years back. They are one of the only animals that will take on and kill a porcupine.
