FISHINGURU
the only downfall of our team is we can easily be out coached....i'm hoping maybe chili has reids number.
Sandmannd
Oh I'm sure he has his number. Knowing ol' Bradley, I'm sure he's givin' Andy the first 15 opening plays.
koonie
All I know is our o-line and linebackers better come to play. TJack is gonna see blitzing like he's never seen before and if the o-line doesn't play well Jackson and the Vikes will get carted out of the dome. The linebackers HAVE TO keep Westbrook and Buckhalter in check.
Borch
What is our record in the past 6 games? 5 wins and 1 loss? That's right, we really sucked the end of the season. Hmm.... 7 wins and 2 losses in our last 9 games. We have absolutely no chance to beat anyone I guess. We absolutely backed into the playoffs based on those numbers. zepman
Great point Borch. The Vikes have been as hot as any team leading into the playoffs. The game against the Eagles will be decided by turnovers. He who has least...wins. Vikes are very tough at home and I'm thinking a last second field goal will put the Vikes into the 2nd round. Sandmannd
Yea, they won, but they didn't play great in a few of the games including the last two weeks. I just feel they really need to step it up for this game.
snoozebutton
With 20,000 tickets left to sell, looks like you guys might have to listen to it on the radio. http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/36862649.html?elr=KArks7PYDiaK7DU2EPaL_V_9E7ODiUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUUQuote:If you're throwing a party to watch the Vikings' playoff game on that nice new high-definition television of yours, you might want to reconsider. Attending the game might be the only way to see it.The Vikings announced Monday that approximately 20,000 tickets remain for Sunday's game against the Eagles at the Metrodome. That daunting number shouts out a very real possibility that the Vikings' first home playoff game in eight years will be blacked out in the Twin Cities and many secondary markets. The surplus of tickets for Sunday's game, scheduled to be shown on KMSP (Ch. 9), exists because only about 55 percent of the team's 55,000 season-ticket holders elected to buy playoff tickets. Hammer Handle
Great post Borch...and we won against good teams too.And people say we won, but didn't play "great".Anytime we win, I think it is great. If we play bad all through the playoffs, yet win...who cares? Hammer Handle
In MN, the Vikings are important...but there are so many other things to do too and many more sport teams to keep up with. They will be on TV. No doubt about it.In Green Bay, it is different. That is why so many Packer Fans move to MN.

When you do a search for the tickets, plug in for the $30 dollar tickets and you'll get basically the same tickets. I know, I checked last night. There's your break. Born2Fish
Yeah on the news today they already said they expect the game to be sold out soon. With tickets as low as 35 dollars apiece they should go quick. I went to the sunday night game against the bears and 24 rows up in the upper isnt to bad a place to sit and watch the game. FISHINGURU
so people were paranoid that there was only 20,000 tickets left and we knew we were actually in the playoffs for not even 24 hours.with only 55% of the season ticket holders pre buying playoff tickets i'd imagine almost all of the other 45% alone would want to buy playoff tickets now.i'm sure them tickets will sell like hotcakes...most of the fans probably thought playoff tickets would be gone right away and didn't even bother. jeffyo45
Just got invited to the game. Free tickets are the best. Will be my first Vikes playoff game ever. Let's get the dome a rockin'. Skoal' Vikings. The game will sell out. They have until Thursday. No way the Wilf's let this game not be on TV.
Sandmannd
Cool that your first game is a playoff game, can't get better than that, especially if they win. I'm checking with a buddy to see if he wants to go with some $30 tickets, didn't know they had those till this thread. Wife won't sit in upper deck case of her fear of hights otherwise we'd go for sure. If he can't go I'll check with a couple other folks. harvey lee
The Vikes may not be the best but one would be a fool to not give them a shot. The last 9 games as Borch showed they have played well enough to win. Maybe they will only be on the radio and maybe both but, thats better than Green bay and Da Bums. At lst they are still in the running. If the Vikes can play a average plus game and not make many mistakes, they could find them selves in round 2. Remember, the ol saying, On any given day.
