I cant believe I am going to say this, but I agree with Windy.. THe blind guy while its a great story, is fair at average.. nice guy, but an idol he is not.

Ok---Here is my recap.. I dont care if someone tells me I need a life.. I almost hate to admit this.. I have a vocal minor in college.. There I said it...

First off, What the he l l does paula have on and what is she on? I want some!!!! Is she wearing a chicken?

Lil'--Brought it! Surprised they put her first? Good enough to stick around!! But agree with Simon, not the best outfit, but its not a fashion contest!

Scott--- Decent but didnt love it. Its a good story. I have a feeling he is safe.

Danny--- Maybe yelled a little too much... But Through, I put him in the top 5 of the night. He has the "It" factor!

Michael--- Better than I thought. I was bored but I bet he gets voted through.

Jasmine--- sister has a voice much bigger than her 17 yeas of age... pitchy at times She will not win, but will make it to next week.

Kris--- Way surprised!!! way better than I thought, I'm with Randey a little Mraz like, which is a very good thing.. SAFE!!!!

Allison-- Unique again, better than Hannah Montana! Better than her age! Safe!

Anoop--- Ohh boy, When I heard they were going to be doing MJ I told my wife, I hope nobody tries "Beat It". While Noop is agood singer, he needs to understand what he "can" and what he can not" pull off.. Beat it, he can not. Gone!

Jorge'--- I am not a Jorge fan, I get nothing from him.. and after his performance tonight, I feel the same way... Gone!!!

Megan--- I actually thought she was going to be out..Before the night started I thought it was a 3 way race out between(Megan, Michael, Jorge)... Megan is back in, didnt like the song, but was very good!!! Minus the "caw Caw" at the end.. LOL

Adam- Told my wife before it started, I hope he singes "black and White".. Midway though I had started to write he needed to change it more, and scribbled it out.. Nailed it!.. top 3 at least!!!! Like Danny, he has the "it".

Matt--- I am a huge fan of his, second only to Danny.. he did not disapoint! I hate the song he sang, but I liked his version! Top 4 of the night...

Alixis Blew it up!.. way surprised! Underdog? I thought she was better than the judges gave her credit for!

SO.. my take.. Anoop and Jorge are gone.. I thin Scott could be in there too, but seems to have a following. Michael could be in there too, but probably safe.

I would have to agree that Anoop and Jorge are gone. Scott isn't that good, but he has a story and is somewhat tugging at heartstrings. I thought this was the best first night that Idol has had as far as most of them nailing there songs. I like Megan and Danny and Adam should win if he doesn't do something stupid down the road.

Here is my take, not so much on the performances tonight but where I think they will place, though I agree with you on most points.

Dead Men Walking: Anoop and Jorge, I liked Anoop before this song, don't really like Jorge, but my wife does but both of them will be Leavin On A Jet Plane.......

With 11 remaining here is my breakdown:

Bottom 3 - Scott, my points have already been made on him

Michael, same points as Scott but he can see!

Jasmine, too young, in over her head.

Middle 4 - Kris, though I could see him exiting earlier

Matt, I don't like him as much as others do

Allison, she is just too weird for me, and dumb as a stone to boot!

Megan, I love her though I think she will exit as number 5, though I would not be surprised if she breaks the top 4

Top Dogs in order:

4 Danny, I know people love him, but I don't think his voice will carry him thru, I can see him stumbling early.

3 Alexis, she is just a little slice o pie, and has a nasty streak in her, Tommy Likey!

1 and 2 This is a toss up, I can see either winning. Adam or Lil. They are both so far above the competition that it is not funny. I think he blew her away tonight though I think she will mount a comeback in following weeks. I think if you go with the theory that the show likes to alternate male female winners each year then it would be the girls turn and if I had to pick one I would pick Lil but I keep having this gnawing feeling that Adam will just keep getting better and better. I think he is about 6 months ahead of schedule to the likes of David Cook and Chris Daughtry and will be right up there with them as a recording star long after the season ends!

I would have to say that i am now a Adam Fan. The guy was a stud last night, and IMO, i think he is the guy to beat!

Allison did go with the safe route, but again it think she has some talent, but the rocker chick might hurt her in the long run.

I dont think that Mike is going to go as far as i expected, along with the blind man. They both can sing, but not as talented as the others!

My pick for the whole thing is still adam or allison!

Scott - Well I was wrong. Thought he would blow up with the piano and it didn't happen. I think Adam should win it all, best by far. But popularity will probably put Lil through.

Those two are gonna have to tighten up their games and come at this thing from another angle, or else it's adios to them two.

Both showed that they could sing, but another round like that fiasco last night and they will be on the midnight train!

I think America got it right for the most part. I had Jasmine tagged for the bottom three anyway but based on this weeks singing alone she should have been spared. I think Anoop got the reprieve based on his body of work to date and his likeability factor. Jasmine was forgetable and her vote total showed it. She would have been axed in the next few weeks anyway. I think Anoop should take this as a wake up call and he may step up his game. I do think that he will make it further than Jasmine would have had she not been axed this week. I do like it that the judges did not waste their life line last night!

I have no complaints about this weeks shows. The two that left had no chance and were lucky to make the final 13. I cringe whenever paula tries to speak and I wish I had the FF feature for Kanye West. His Song or what ever that was was terrible. Kelly did a good job.
