bassislife
I would play Booty over jackson or gus. That's who should be the starter.
MuleShack
The other part of the problem is that MN doesn't "Adjust", they simply run the game plan thru out the game. Where as other "good" coaches adjust and see what is working or what the defense is doing and counter that. MN is just run right, run right, screen or bootlet, punt. FISHINGURU
thank the lord...i'd rather see gus out there over tjunk anyday...everyone should know gus isn't the answer since he is a journyman..but this might be one of the best opportunities he's ever had...not like we are asking for much...we'd be 2-0 right now against some real good teams with a qb that could convert a couple 3rd downs.booty isn't even close to ready for anything...that would be a mistake to throw him to the wolves...i'd rather have him be the future for this team then tjunk but he needs to just watch and learn this year.tjunk got better at a few things but saying he got better doesn't really mean much when your horrible...especially when you only get better for a couple plays then the next few plays you look like a highschool qb.if our playbook doesn't open up chilly or whoever makes and calls these plays is the worst i've ever seen...period.i think our defense has been mean...they've played well enough to easily help us win games...special teams slipped up and cost us and the D did let a couple big plays happen but thats gonna happen when your on the field so much giving the other teams a million chances...we can't go 3 and out all game and expect our guys not to get tired and eventually give up a big play or two.we had alot of chances to beat greenbay and we should of had the colts buried by 20 some points by halftime. vitalshot5
Show me where gus ferotte is better....his completion % is 54.2% ........ his QB rating is 73.4.......Jacksons completion % is 57.1% and his qb rating is 68.5.....Why would we want a 37 year old 16 year veteran who has never gotten better over a 25 year old 3rd year player who is still learning.....ferotte has had his chances and blew em...give jackson a chance to finish out the year, cause gus is the WRONG answer. KMR85
doesnt gus have one of the highest passer ratings in vikings history? Around 116 perhaps? Ya I know he only started a couple games, but maybe he just likes minnesota. we will see on sunday. hopefully more than 4 plays get called on offense now. meerkat
switching QB's isn't going to matter unless they change the play calling. The only way we are going to win this game is if AP breaks for 2 TDs. Then they'll say Gus "managed the game". If AP doesn't score 2 Gus will be just as bad as TJack, you can only be good as the play calling.

FISHINGURU
Show me where gus ferotte is better.... his QB rating is 73.4.......Jacksons qb rating is 68.5hmmmmmmm?? well gus's qb rating is better loldo people really want tjunk to be the face of this franchise for the next 5-10 years? even if he gets better he still doesn't have "IT"...he just don't.i personally hope the vikes are done with him as a starter and we move on either getting a good veteran or moving on and trying to groom booty for the future.i don't think the fans or veteran players on the team can handle the struggles and inconsistant play...gus might not be any better but it's something new to try for a spark. walleyes12
Groom Booty Just like they Groomed T-Jack?? Booty has no more talent then T-Jack. Any bets if they didn't draft Booty he would of been cut after preseason.

bassislife
I think the vikes have a better shot with booty than gus or jackson. Not saying he'll be great or anything, but it's not hard to be better than what the vikes got right now.
Scott K
For you guys that think the Vikings are so horrible, they lost to 2 really good teams by a total of 8 points! If a few plays would have been different they could be 2-0!

If a few plays would have been different they could be 2-0! I like the optimism! I feel the same way, but there were a couple plays the other way too, and it could of been a complete blow out in both games.
