FIRE THE COACH

I was back on the band wagon by half time but then did a high speed bail out in the 4th quarter... grin

The play calling (yes the coach does that) is just so predictable and when it comes time to pass, he is so limited in his ability.

Give him one more game and if he sux, then get Gus in there or start grooming JD BOOTY.

Very predictable........ It goes something like this........... Run, Run, Pass, Punt.

I got a better idea, take the whole team and run them all out of town. A bunch of over-paid babies. For years they talk about how "this is the year" and nothing happens. They cry that they need a new ball park to make money and have a winning team. Lets face it there a very few places that would give the Vikings a place to call home, Please someone take them,Please. mad

If I was Wilff I would give Chilli until week 8. At that time the Vikes have a buy week. If they are not at least 4-3 after week 7 then fire Chilli. Keep your Defensive and special teams staff in tackt and you have two weeks to get an offensive game plan for game #8. IMO Chilli and Bevel are killing this team. Just my 2 cents

Totally agree.

Fire Chilly, temporarily promote Frasier, then do some coach shopping in the offseason.

This team will go nowhere with Chilly.

I really am curious how Ziggy feels about things so far. Do you suppose he sees the same things and feels anything like we do? How could he not be thoroughly disgusted with the play calling and (lack of) gameplan adjustments?

My buddy was shocked at how the vikes were winning that game in the first half. I told him, wait till the second half when Indy adjusts and it will be a different story. Chilly doesn't change anything and we lose. And I just loved the commentator on the last play of the game. Talking about how the only passes TJ completes are where fakes the handoff and rolls out the the right. What happens, play action and a roll out to the right. Then he mocks Chilly and says if I knew it was coming, Indy knew it was coming. That was absolutely horrible. Glad I was asleep most of the game, I only wasted about 1.5 hours of my day, and it wasn't while I was asleep.

Weren't the Vikes looking about the time Grueden changed boats? Man seems like we always miss the best options. What did he ask for that made him not worth a look? I know it's all after the fact easy to see the folly in it stuff but really.... Reminds me of the Bernie Kosar de-bauckle. Oops we forgot about the supplemental draft!! Man we seem to never have a clue.

I'm glad Chilly never got on the plane to interview with the Packers. McCarthy is 5-0 against him, and now 11-3 against the division since taking over as head coach. The Packers are the youngest team in the NFL again this year. Childress is now 14-18 as head coach. He has a team that can rush the ball and stop the run. That combination usually gets a team a lot of wins with a QB that can manage a game. How much longer will he commit to TJack?

Coaching has been the Achilles heel of the Vikings for the last 20 years. Childress is an absolute stubborn moron to believe tarvaris should be the starter. If they get a decent QB in there it will open up things for AP. Hopefully they will keep Childress and fall flat on their faces again this year.

I don't know about Grueden, but I do know we hired Tice and I was saying to wait for Dungy or at least interviw him. Then two weeks later he goes to the colts. How is it we can never land a good coach here? I don't get it at all. Get a vet coach and a vet QB while you have all these players that can play.

It sure was humorus today listening to him on the 12:00 press conference.

He tried to compare Jacksons progress (or lack of) by the analogy of Tjack chasing his tail. Gotta get plays executed to get confidence...gotta get confidence to make things go round...so he's chasing his tail.

Then he was justifying the end of the game scenario of 1st down Run, 2nd down run, 3rd down bootleg because he was trying to get Indy to use up their time outs...maybe he should have been more worried about getting a first down and less predictable. But he never even blinked an eye when asked about the run, run, pass tactic.

Like others said, he's stubborn and has his "kick a$$" system, someone has to tell him how to operate it though.

If you give a chef a recipe with doo-doo as the main ingredient...it will be tough for him to make the dish taste good.

T-Jack had some potential and he was all we had. But, he has had his chance. But, last off-season we didn't have many or any options when considering the future of this team. That is why I was hoping the Pack would take Favre back and [PoorWordUsage] of Rodgers....

Everyone jumps on the coach. As a coach myself, I know what that is like.

Bring back Denny Green. NO WAY!! He was an one-who-thinks-I-am-silly and the worse coach in Vikings history (besides Les Steckel). If he comes back, I am moving to Green Bay....
