I won't be fishing any tournaments seeing I don't have a boat. But I'm sure me and my friends will have our own little competitions going on at all times when we are fishing together. Man I can't wait it's going to be a great year.

i fish two every year, one in the spring and one in the fall for smallmouth, can't say the name of the lake though, if you fish in northwestern wisconsin around cable or drummond you will probably know the lake though. best we have done is big fish one year at just under 4lbs i think and 3rd place a year or two after with a total of 7 fish i think around 15 or so pounds. they allow livebait in these tournys and we don't fish livebait in the tourny, so in the fall we usually get our butts kicked by the live bait guys.

I love fishing bass tournaments, it is what I look forward to doing every summer. I just love the composition part of it. There are some really good anglers in Minnesota and it’s great to get on the water against them. You can learn a lot by fishing tournaments (boat or co-angler). IT’S WHAT I LIVE FOR!!! cool.gif\:\)\:D

I'll fish a couple of tournaments this season. If your new to fishing or a non-boater you can learn alot from fishing Pro/Am tournaments (bass or walleye). If your a new bass angler you should look into joining one of the Bass or FlW bass clubs. I don't club fish any more, mainly because of time restraints. But, I learned more about bass fishing from fishing in a good club than I have from any other resource.

Will fish a tuesday night local league, Falcon Invitational on Sauk lake, maybe a couple one day single angler events. Enjoy fishing T's but don't like to get locked in to alot, seems like the only thing your doing then is pre-fishing at the expense of following some really hot bites or just fishing for fun.

Shoot, my secret is out. I hear your hitting the Big Bass Bonanza circuit this year. Have fun kicking Chris and Jeremy around the lake. Maybe you could throw em a bone, let them carry your bag up to the weigh-in table just to be nice. \:\)
