I have heard 3-400 feet.

They try to avoid the 900+ foot areas.

Except wasn't the Early Dawn fishing the snow crab season in real deep stuff south/southeast of Dutch Harbor? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the snow crab fishing is in that 900 - 1000ft depth range (or more).

I thought it was interesting when the time bandit said that last year they were fishing in March and this year they are fishing oppis in January.

Poor Phil. I don't know how he has such bad luck. That anchor cable alone had to set him back a ton. I think you are right AirJer, I know last year was the prop he had to replace and got the wrong one in. I can't remember what happened the year before. But it all started when his kids started to come on board.

Did anyone notice Sig said the northwestern takes 60,000 gallons of fuel. If you fiqure $5 per gallon (which is probably a low estimate) that is $300,000. Think about that for a minute, $300k in fuel...

No wonder king crab is $30 per pound.

Over in Alaska it might be a little cheaper, but who knows.

I had thought they mentioned that at the start of the season, they're like over $300k in the hole?

On another note....that Phil is in real tough shape for the next show!!! Looks like the Red Bulls and some what.....3 - 5 packs a day (?) have finally caught up to him.

And then the waves those guys have to deal with. WOW!!! Amazing some of those waves!

Next show looks real interesting.
