Why Forums were down so long

We finally got it. We figured out the MySQL tables crashed on us and while we were working on it our server went completely offline for about an hour last night. So we had to start over from square one. The huge amount of data took huge chunks of time to recover and then import - twice.

The good news is that we are back and ready to roll.

We did lose all posts from the 5th through the 8th.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

I can tell you it's a huge load off my shoulders.

While the forums were down, I found another source of great information- the main Fishing MN homepage. Maybe I was the only one who hadn't discovered it? I just wanted tell others, who haven't discovered it, to go check it out! Great stories and videos to be had!
