Found Hand Held GPS

Last weekend while participating in the Jay Cooke muzzleloading deer hunt. I found a hand held GPS I would like to return the GPS without having to drive to his place but will if I have to.

He has home as a waypoint, with the maping info on the GPS it looks like he lives on Tonto St. in Champlin Mn.

Does anybody know of a wedsite where you can punch in GPS

coordinates and get an address?

Any help would be great.

I'm sure you could find a site out there, try to google it. Another this is you could use a turn by turn GPS (if you have access to one) and you should be able to type them in there.

Try google earth. It works very well and we have used it to map hunting drives on the land where we hunt.

Does anyone here live in Champlin? Could you mail it to a FM member and have them deliver it?

Do a Google on "Anoka co tax" and you can find the tax info HSOforum. Do a property search then in the address search box use 17* Tonto for the address and put in Ramsey for the city. It comes up with 11 addresses and names for that street with addresses beginning with 17XXX...and lots more personal info. On Google Earth it looks like there are about 30 houses on that street. You can also try 151* tonto for another address and that has a lot more people on it.

I don't want to post everybodies names and addresses here.

If you want to find out you can on your own.

It's scary to find out what is available online!

I just wanted to let everyone know, that I was able to locate the gentleman that lost the GPS unit. Arrangements

have been made for it's return. Thanks to anybody that gave suggestions or offered to help.
