  1. I just wanted to let everyone know, that I was able to locate the gentleman that lost the GPS unit. Arrangements have been made for it's return. Thanks to anybody that gave suggestions or offered to help.
  2. Last weekend while participating in the Jay Cooke muzzleloading deer hunt. I found a hand held GPS I would like to return the GPS without having to drive to his place but will if I have to. He has home as a waypoint, with the maping info on the GPS it looks like he lives on Tonto St. in Champlin Mn. Does anybody know of a wedsite where you can punch in GPS coordinates and get an address? Any help would be great.
  3. Thanks Oilguy! I'm having a problum zooming in. What am I doing wrong?
  4. Oilguy, Could you post that link. I read about the story in Ducks Unlimited but could not find it Thanks,
  5. I can't say thank you enough! Thank you for your sacrifices! God bless you all!!
  6. I also just got back from four great days of duck hunting. The mallards were not as numerous as on our first trip two weeks ago, however we still managed limits. The snow geese were just starting to show up. There were plenty of divers on the bigger water. I also was lucky to get a banded weigeon, a nice bonus. I couldn't have asked for a better N. Dakota waterfowling expierence as I had this year. The big difference between this year and years past is that the farmers in our area were not able to harvest their small grains. This really concentrated the birds. Good hunting!
  7. We didn't see alot of birds this morning. We shot seven ducks for two guys. A mixture of mallards and teal. What a beautiful morning, finnaly some cool weather.
  8. Was out hunting this morning and was lucky enough to bag a banded drake mallard. Felt great to see that band. It's been Thirteen years since the last one. I hope it won't take that long for the next one!
  9. I was also out this morning. Hunting was slow, we shot a one man limit for two guys, but didn't see alot of birds. We shot a greenwing teal so I'm guessing there are some northern birds trickling in The highlight of the morning was a banded drake mallard that I shot. I felt bad for my partner he missed it twice before I folded it. Looking forward to tommorow!! Good hunting
  10. I have been seeing plenty of birds moving along the Mississippi up here in Little Falls. Should be a good season.
  11. Moose-Hunter, Today is my 9th wedding anniversary. I just read your post and am going to take your advise. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
  12. Looking for for some teams. Check out the Mille lacs forum.
