Deitz Dittrich
Ok.. its been a bit quiet in here... and I have had the new boat itch for a while now....If money were not a part of it.. you could afford anything... What boat would you buy?For me it would be the BassCat Puma with a merc 250 on it...
Fluker
Ditto here Dietzy. Make that a 250 PRO XS on back. Also, be sure and get the lighted hand rails and fancy trailer rims. Get the 3D Humminbird GPS on front and back. Kinda fun to dream and play around with coloring too. http://www.basscat.com/bc-colorselector.html Fluke

deerhuntr8
Triton TR21X with a 250 Yamaha HPDI. To me this is the ultimate boat.
OptiMax
Can you say Gambler ? And a LoPro. And for fun, there'd be a Malibu and a Bennington in the garage as well.
Ray Esboldt
I'd probably get the jet boat before the big boat. I suppose I would go with either the 20' Ranger or Triton tiller boat. Of course, the 20' Warrior holds a 200 tiller. I don't know. Wait a minute...I have my ultimate bass rig - an 1850 Crestliner Fish Hawk tiller with a 90 Optimax. Duh? Deitz Dittrich
Opti- them gamblers are sure fast.. but I think they are one UGLY bass boat... just my opinion.
OptiMax
Might not be the prettiest, I agree, but I like them--kind of old-school. Of course, the LoPro isn't the "prettiest" boat either, but I'd still love one.

Captain B.R.K
Dietz- we must be doing something seriously wrong or that guy just knows how to cross his T's and dot his I's I'd want an all around fishing boat so I'd have to go with a decked out 17' or 18'ft Pro V or Mr.Pike. Lowrance electronic's on the front, middle & back of the boat, 2-way radio, Minnekota setup's for trolling motors, rod holders, air ride seats, all new Shimano & Loomis rods and bass, walleye, pike and muskie lures! What a great question to be asking at a time like now. I just made for a real good dream
eyepatrol
Wow, if money were no object? I don't think I could settle for just one boat if money were no object. If I were a Bill Gates or something like that, here's what I'd probably have (or something along these lines): Some sort of luxurious house boat with hot tub, sauna, bar, etc. that I'd put up on Rainy Lake. Either a Bently or Bennington pontoon (22'-24'). But for the real part....fishing: A Triton 215X with a 250hp anything, but I wouldn't mind trying the E-tecs out. 9.9hp kicker, Minnkota 101, the 10.5" Lowrance locators front, console and back, 4 rod holders and just about any other feature and doohickie I could put on there. And then for smaller lakes I'd go with an Alumacraft Dominator or Navigator 175CS with a 115hp Opti, 9.9 Pro kicker, Minnkota 80PD and of course the Lowrance 10.5" screen locators all around. And a partridge in a pear tree..... Oh and one other thing....if I were a bass fisherman, I'd probably opt for the Ranger Z22 Comanche with a Yamaha 300hp Vmax HPDI. According to Yamaha's performance bulletin, I'd be able to putz around a lake at a measly 71mph. Maybe I'd try the smallish Verado 275hp motor, but why sacrafice a few mph when there's so little to work with???
Ray Esboldt
I agree. What are the rest of us doing wrong? Well, I happen to know a few of those guys that think a new boat and a new truck are absolute musts. They are living in massive debt and on the edge of bankruptcy. If that's comfortable for someone, best of luck. I couldn't live like that.
Mark Christianson
Heck, in reality, I would be happy with a new 1850 Fishhawk with a 90 tiller!
Wayne Ek
Well money is an option However, with the dollar I won from Deitz this year and some other minor dollars I will take possession of a new (2007) Dual console Ranger Z20 Comanche next week. Powered by Yamaha HPDI 225. With (of course) a Motor Guide 109 Tour edition and 2 Lowrance 110. This one will be sporting a Crystal-Pierz wrap for the first time Looking forward to next week. croixflats
215x Triton with 250 hp four stroke sitting on a boat lift in front of my lake home. Ofcourse the lake would have to be big or on a lake chain to utilize the size of the boat
MinnesotaMongo
Carrie Underwood - but that's another thread....You know, you guys may laugh, but I really like those ugly Lake Assaults. There's something about a basic, tough, spray'er down when the day is over, kind of rig.Give me an 18 footer with all the bells and whistles, and I'd be a happy man.
