$1,000,000 MacDaddy's Fishing Lure

I caught it at the end of the news broadcast that a company made a 1 million dollar lure, so remember when that significant other says OMG you spent how much on that lure. You can always say well, I didnt go out and buy that Million dollar one. It was made of Platnuim, and diamonds I believe anyone get the link for it yet?

I had one and when it didnt work I traded it to Ripstick for a couple trolling rods. Way over rated and of course over priced.

They were exhibiting at ICAST (fishing industry trade show) this week. After the show ended each night they had two armed escorts with a locked iron briefcase showing them out. Not much activity at their booth excpet for the curiousity factor.

I worked in a lab in grad school that did a lot of plating, so I took a couple of old swedish pimples in and plated them in gold leftover from some other work. They don't work any better, but I still like to grab my gold swedish pimple when I need a lucky lure.

That million dollar lure is butt ugly. What a freekin waste.

They showed it on Basscenter Saturday and they mentioned that it is actually going to be fished in an upcoming event.

Although I'm not sure what kind of fish they are expecting to bite it.

They are fishing it in a Blue Marlin tournament in Cabo San Lucas. The winning prize is over $3mil. It's meant to be publicity for the other lines of lures and fly's MacDaddy's has. Looks like it's working. You guys are all talking about it.......... I have one of the sterling silver and cubic zirconia lures. Works great and I don't panic when I cast.

Ok this got me thinking. I thought that I could make something that applied more to freshwater fishing. I am taking orders for these at a mere $500,000. It's the greatest jig ever made!!! Guaranteed to catch those discriminating fish, and it's only half the price of that gaudy thing. Wouldn't you love to snag one of these babies on the bottom of your favorite river/lake.
