Matt Johnson
As we see the ice fishing season come to a close, I'd like to thank all our sponsors and staff who have made the 2004/2005 season a successful one. A lot of excellent fish have been caught this winter and a lot of memories have been made through different events and experiences. I think that sometimes we fail to realize all the hard work that goes into the fishing industry and the people involved in it. A lot of extra work is needed to make things productive and I applaud those who have gone the extra mile to make FM an enjoyable place to be and a site where fishing information and fun is shared. So, thank you to Rick and all the FM staff for another great season, and thank you to all the sponsors, guides, resorts and businesses who have made this possible. Time to break out the long rods and pitch for some open water panfish! Good Fishin, Matt Johnson

hanson
Quote: When's the ice going to get thick again? I usually have my eye on Thanksgiving weekend. There is alot to do between now and then but I think I can survive. While everybody is saying thanks, I want to thank the rest of you FMers who log in everyday to share stories, tips, techniques, etc. It makes it very fun to log in and spend a considerable part of each and every day cruising FM. I plan on hosting an Ice leaders event here in VT next season and I also plan on making a trip out to your neck of the woods next year. I hope I get a chance to meet some of you fine people on the ice.Tight lines.Bob Dostie
iffwalleyes
Yes I too would like to thank everyone who visits this site. The wealth of knowledge available from all of you out there is amazing. This is always a sad time of year for me. The ice is falling appart and I am already looking forward to next season since I spend little time on the soft water. I took part of a couple iceleader events this year and I plan on being part of more in the up coming years. So it pretty much looks like it is done for this year. I was planning one more trip but it looks that that has fallen through so it is time to head out and pack the gear up for the year.

dockehr
This is my second year of following the the FM forums (primarily ice fishing). I'll probably never fish Lake Superior or the BWCAW areas but, its been informative as to the helpful information that's been made available to newcomers. Likewise, on the other area-spcific forums. Rick, and all the FM "staff", keep up the good work. Good luck and safe fishing to all as we approach the open water fishery.dockehrDr. Roland E.
