Good Guess !

I did not include that bit of information but the person who sent me the pictures did say that SHE was putting on makeup when she hit the house.

He was not there so we will consider it a rumor.

ARE THOSE ILLINOIS OR WISCONSIN PLATES ? ? ?

They sure look like Illinois plates. I`m not surprised by a woman from Illinois causing an accident. I got hit twice(by a woman)last year and this last time has my neck messed up. Pretty hard to look at an ice hole very long before it`s hurting. mad.gif The laws are not strict enough on driving and getting in an accident. What`s a ticket? Pay a fine and your free to go. A little time in a jail cell will give you time to think about what you did to get youself there!!!

Do you see any brake lights on the trailer? Not trying to justify what happened but may have been a contributing factor. People have a tendency to follow to close to those that have a tendency to suddenly stop. How about some humble pie?

The trailer lights shouldnt matter if we are talking LEGAL and ILLEGAL here. There is no place near frazee where you can LEGALLY drive 77 MPH. grin.gif the speed limit on highway 10 is 65mph. Plus cant you tell that they are going slower than you when your going 77 and they are going 35? thats a 42mph difference if my math is correct. I just had to add thath. I have to stand up for a fellow fisherman over some woman that cant drive. grin.gif

I missed the fact there there were no lights on the house.

If the owner of the house did not at least have a slow moving vehicle sign on the house her lawyers will have their way with him.

There are no brake lights on the side of a train or a school bus.

She is lucky to have hit a soft aluminum structure padded with foam maybe it will be her wake up call. blush.gif

I not sure on the law of needing or not needing light. I have them on mine. This to me is the problem with todays society. We feel that the person that is drive with a cell phone hooked to there ear needs a excuse for why they ran into something in this case a fish house. I don't feel this is right. I think that we are luckey it was a fish house, what if it was child crossing there road in town they don't have lights or reflectors. I talk on the phone lots while I drive but I never take my mine of my number one priority drive responsibly. I drive lots and this is a divide highway it isn't that hard to pass a slow moving fishhouse plus it was daylight not dark.

I don't believe they can say much, you are supposed to keep distance accordingly to your speed, which at 77mph it's a looong way back. They might give house owner a ticket for no lights or no Slow Moving sign, but that's it.

I believe they will total truck, since looks like box got pushed forward and smashed rear of cab. Car and fish-house are definitely a total.
