  3. Autographed pro fishing jerseys auctioned off to support USA Ice Team NAPERVILLE, IL - USA Ice Team will travel to Kazakhstan this February to compete against the best ice fishermen in the world for the title of 2012 Ice Fishing World Champions - a feat they accomplished two years ago in 2010. 2012 USA Ice Team member, Bob Horn, has secured a variety of autographed fishing jerseys from some of America's best anglers, to be auctioned off later this month on E bay. The autographed fishing jerseys have been donated by angling mega-stars Kevin Van Dam, Timmy Horton, Aaron Martens, Denny Brauer and Blair Wiggins. All auction proceeds will go to USA Ice Team, and be used to offset the team's significant international travel costs. "The jerseys are the same ones these guys wear during competition, or in Blair Wiggins' case, on his popular TV show, Addictive Fishing", says Horn. "And because they're signed, each one is a totally unique collector's item", he continues. "I can't thank these guys enough for stepping up to help us out (USA Ice Team) with these ultra-cool items". The E bay auctions will begin November 27 and run through December 4. Those interested in bidding on the autographed fishing jerseys should go to www.hsolist.com and enter "USA Ice Team" in the search window. USA Ice Team 2012 members are Mike Boedeker, Tony Boshold, Steve Burkart, Bob Esbensen, Myron Gilbert, Bob Horn, Jeff Kelm, Mike McNett, Chad Schaub, Bill Whiteside and Ryan Wilson. The 11-person USA Ice Team was selected over a series of competitive trials sanctioned by the United States Freshwater Fishing Federation (USF3) last winter. For more information on USA Ice Team, go to www.usaiceteam.com. Contact: Josh Lantz, Sand Creek Media, (219) 728-8996. [email protected]
  4. Youtube is a good start. Fishing tournaments has been the best education I have received for ice fishing. You learn so much from others and can apply it right away. Try the UPL this year. In the being it's not about winning it's about learning.

  7. Ditto what the other guys said. The only other thing is the swivel may or may not hang up on the bottom of the hole. I use swivels sometimes and I try to guide it up the hole.
  8. The Frabill will be fine. If there are hyfax for them, put them on. I have used the Commando for 3 years now and no troubles. I know it's smaller than what your looking for but I want you to know the durability of the Frabill.
  9. I wear the Frabill snosuit. This is hands down the warmest suit I have warn. I have been in 25 below and blowing 20+ and this is for 8 hours of fishing and didn't get cold. They are worth the weight in gold!!! I also team them up with u/a and mickey mouse boots.
  10. I'm sure if you called thorne bros or any of the other retailers that are usually there it may save you a trip. But it is always good to see new stuff and friends that I don't get to see any other time of the year. Ever look at Frabill shelters?
  11. Well I took your advice and look into the carbs. When I took the hood off I seen the screws for the fuel pump. I said what the heck check to see if they're snug. They weren't, so I tighten them. I put the muffs on and started it. It sounded good but I took the carb cleaner and sprayed around the gaskets and I heard something that sounded like it was sucking air. Well I tighten the carb bolts also. They were slightly loose. I will give an update on Monday. I am leaving on a smallie hunt and I will tell you if the motor runs better or not. Thanks to all that has helped. Fish On
