Exactly, sure throw the freeking ball but its the running game that opens up those throws.  Cook ran all over the Saints in the first half then the Saints geared up to stop the run leaving the passing

You don't force your QB to needlessly throw the ball in a blow out win just to justify the money he is making.  Each game is different, when the opposing team can't stop the run then you run it right

Exactly! That game was played how any coach in the NFL would want the game to be played. Run, run and run some more. As long as the chains are moving, keep the ball on the ground, grind out the clock

Exactly, sure throw the freeking ball but its the running game that opens up those throws.  Cook ran all over the Saints in the first half then the Saints geared up to stop the run leaving the passing game open.  On Thielens catch in OT they had put 8 in the box to stop the run leaving only a single safety deep.  That meant either Diggs or Thielen was going to get one on one coverage without any safety help.  Thanks to an effective running game they could throw the freeking ball.

I changed my jersey wearing habit last week, I wore my Chewbacca t-shirt underneath.

The Force was with us.

 

And I'm quitting drinking for the first two months of the year with one caveat..........the Vikes make the Superbowl.

We have a trade!

 

Bills are trading a 1st-round pick, a 5th-round pick, a 6th-round pick and a 2021 4th-round pick for Vikings WR Stefon Diggs and a 2020 7th-round pick,

 

 

I like it! Compared to what Houston got for Hopkins today,  I think the Vikings did well .

 

And most importantly Diggs will still be disgruntled in Buffalo lol

I think they should have waited until the end of this upcoming season to decide. If cousins was gonna sign any new deal I would have hoped it would be a reduction to help the team’s salary cap issues.

 

Vikings can draft a tackle and corner in the first, and have money now to fill in some other holes. They'd have 10 picks in rounds 2-7 and really wouldn't be committed to any specific position other than another wr.

 

Maybe they will draft Diggs younger brother now lol ?

I think it was a smart move. Prices on QBs will go up, they removed the "no trade" clause, and they secured a QB until they can replace him and then trade.

 

I hope they draft a QB to groom in 2020. Then trade Cousins when the youngster is ready to roll.

 

As for Diggs he was becoming a distraction. He was a quality WR. But at the end of the day we came out fairly well with the picks and there are a lot of decent receivers in the draft.

      I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...

      Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?

      I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.

      Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.

      The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.

      It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.

      We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there,but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
