Nice job sticking it out, glad to see you were rewarded for it.  I still have a tag left but have had zero time to get out so my gear is all put away for the season.

Also, is that the exit hole in the front of the chest?  If so holy exit wound bat man.

Thats the entrance hole. It was like 5yrds away looking straight up at me had no other shot. Shooting almost straight down the rage cut a pretty big hole.

I’ve seen a nearly identical entrance wound on another buck posted years go.  Not a typical shot, but a deadly one.

At 5 yards it had to feel like point blank!
