Ah, just sitting here relaxing at the keyboard collecting my thoughts. The office pest is ensconced again this morning. After sitting in the chair yesterday for about a half hour watching me slave away he announced he had to go home and move snow. I said it would have to beat sitting on a chair doing nothing in here. He just doesn't get it.

On a more positive note, love is in the air at the ranch. Our female kitty has attracted several potential suitors. There's a white one, a grey tiger and a black one. "Tincture", our female is mostly grey with splotches of orange and white. When she first showed up I thought she'd rubbed against a bunch of paint and tried to wipe her off. Gestation on cats is about 58 - 63 days. Should be some interesting looking kittens. Something else that has my curiosity piqued is the cardinal situation. We've had a loyal female at the feeder the past several weeks and we were waiting to see a male show up. This morning there were two females. You don't suppose....

Thanks, I'll go for new. This does everything I want it to, and blazes pretty fast. I just click on whatever and *BAM* it's on screen and loaded, seriously. Zooms along with other stuff. Beats up some of my buddy's 'puters pretty bad. VISTA has had more negtive reviews that I think it deserves. I'm pretty 'puter literate, and I've really had very few probs/issues with it.  I just have about 8 billion pictures/caricatures on it that I need to transfer or do something with. Haven't addressed that yet. Been a good 'puter, no complaints. I think it's seven years old now.... time to upgrade I guess. Could do a build too, hmmm.....

It's with great sadness and surprise that I have to confide in you all that as a Democrat I'm disappointed in Hillary Clinton.  It seems, and is just recently reported this afternoon, that she had a few emails on her computer (they call it a server as though that's fancy, I have a "server" in my office, looks like a normal computer tower) and some are of such material that they can't release them.  I guess 37 pages or so but alas it's okay because my people are saying that "at least one" of those emails merely contains a NY times article.  See???  At lease one could mean all of them.

Even as a new Democrat I've grown tired of these personal attacks against a woman.  It's always something.  At this point what difference does it make!

Careful.  If you are following your daughter, pretty soon she will probably turn vegetarian.  Many girls do at some point, it is quite trendy... Especially the liberal ones.

Dotch- I said I'd try to be a Democrat.  Clinton lawn sign?  You all may get a kick out of this one...it's against our neighborhood association rules to put up campaign signs in our own lawns or signs for contractors doing work on our house.  It's also against the rules to store a boat trailer in my own driveway for over 48 hours or something.  I'm pretty sure after the honeymoon period of our once "new" neighborhood ended so did following those rules.  

Good morning.  Iowa...a month of hype and my prediction is this.  Whomever wins or comes in some other spot for my old R party will basically claim victory or moral victory and forge on.  No resolution to anything.  Who cares about the D caucus, it's all about the Clinton mess and that will go on forever.  

More important the storm.  You guys down south of the metro will get hit with some substantial but livable amount of snow but it is going to be really windy.  My only trusted, reasonable meteorologist Ian Leonard said the band of snow is going to be super concentrated in the middle of the "path".  I'm buying that, also since he said he didn't know if parts of metro would get much snow at all especially west metro.  It was disappointing to hear non-panic reporting on the weather.   

Smurfy- careful in your travels, I give you grief, but driving around in the weather conditions is a way different thing than the weather man telling homeowners to hide out.  Drive safe.

Last I looked they're backed off to 5-8" here but some major wind. Predicting 25-30 mph starting around sunrise tomorrow & last until at least the same time on Wed

They are talking 2 to 4 inches here in the Anoka area.  I think the wind will play the major role here [and everywhere else]. Funny that I'm even talking about 2 to 4 inches as some kind of storm.  It does play a role in safety concern however.  Doesn't take much to cause a accident.  Drive safe everyone, especially you guys south of the metro.  good luck.

Where is that nudist colony, have to send a drone over there and check to see what their grilling once it warms up.  May have to go over there and show them some real sausage.  Otherwise no nudes around here in my neighborhood, yet.  For the most part it may be better that they wear cloths around here.  good luck.

Spent a good part of the morning drinking coffee and keeping an eye on the bird feeders.  One of my favorite morning past times.

Spent the rest of the day babysitting my ancient smoker filled with ribs and turkey breast.  Also grilled up a couple chicken breasts for salad toppings for later this week.  Had a great meal last night with the wife, her kid and his girlfriend.  All big meat eaters.  Nice to cook for those who appreciate it.

 

No nudist colonies in my area.
